Excellent...thank you for posting this. What I've seen on this thread is a huge effort to put us back under the Law. We must DO DO DO or we will LOSE LOSE LOSE.

Are you a Jew? If not, you never were under the law. The law is only relevant to Jews. Ditto for the covenants.
But you are required to obey God. Everyone is require to obey God. And if you are disobedient you are deceiving yourself if you think you are justified. If you are disobedient, you are condemned. No excuses.

There are none righteous...no, not even those such as yourself who condemn others while coming far short of the glory of God, themselves.

If you are relying on your own righteousness, instead of the righteousness of Christ, you are relying on the wrong person.

It is a dangerous false "gospel" they preach....subverting the faith of those young in the Lord. The words "INJURIOUS" and a "persecutor" come to mind....such was Saul of Tarsus before the Lord stopped him on the Road to Damascus.
1 Timothy 1:12-14
And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious:but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
What better tool could satan have than those who profess a faith which denies the Power of God to keep those who have been pulled from darkness into His wonderful light? Jason is one who keeps coming to my mind. How can he have such insight into Jesus being the One True God..and preach it well, while not recognizing the Promises?
Those such as CR, don't surprise me one bit...they're a dime a dozen. But, Jason? I'm holding out hope for him.

Jesus was more than a man, CR. He is, and has always been, God.
God, alone, is Holy and Righteous. The rest of mankind can only be "counted" as such. That includes Mary.
Here's a perfect example. Have you ever considered "righteous" Lot? Read about Lot, and then explain to me why he is called "righteous."
