1) Why do Indians with thick accents at outsourced call-centers insist on telling me their name is Hank or Suzy? I know your name isn't Hank or Suzy, stop lying to me.

2) I wonder if Burqas come in XXXL?

3) Why does the U.S. Army love acronyms and initialisms so much? Some of the acronyms are actually longer than what they are supposed to be short for.

4) Has anybody ever tried to send something which was actually true via chain mail, just to throw people off?

5) Why do young kids who come up to you to ask you about Jesus always assume that you don't know anything about the Bible?

6) If I could afford to wear brand new socks everyday, I would.

I'm closing a thread and thought you want some of your stuff back.
I couldn't make any sense out of it, couldn't tell who you were talking to, it looked like gobelty gook to me but it must mean something to you?

Anyway here you go.
I never learned how to work the multi quote, so I just hit the quote button and at the end of the first thing I want to respond to I type in (without the space I'm about to leave): [/ quote]

The next one is easier because all I have to do is highlight the whole thing then click on the quote wrap icon above (looks like a speech bubble in a comic and is to the left of the # symbol).

Repeat that until you get to the last thing, because you should have a [/ quote] waiting and all you'll have to add is the [ quote] at the beginning.

So say I have a post and when you hit the quote it looks like:
You stink! Go away!

For years I've wanted to say that. Now I have.

Again, if you're hard of reading: you stink. Go away. [/ QUOTE]

You have steam pouring out of your ears and want to answer each line separately. It would look like this (without the extra space to keep it visible):

Quote:
For years I've wanted to say that. Now I have.[/ QUOTE]
...your scathing retort.

[ QUOTE]Again, if you're hard of reading: you stink. Go away.
[/ QUOTE]

...your outraged summary response.

Hope that's helpful.

Really?
So when I complained to you about making a mess on my thread - I should have said you were spamming? Is that the magic word that justifies you about your thread no matter what you do on somebody else's??

I always answer a present post and/or remain on the OP point. What you just did was only for the purpose of spamming a thread. I didn't need to have you reproduce that post any more than I need you to remind me of my name.

I would have given a fair warning, but you knew exactly what you were doing. If you do it again I'll object more formally.

Of course you are. You never talk about your guy.

You're a hypocrite and a fraud by your own definitions and a coward for failing to stand up on the point.

And even if I agreed with your approach and understanding, which I don't, I'd be ahead of you this election, not voting for either.

Of course, no one running then or now is going to overturn Roe. And any president trying to impact the issue has to do so through Congress. And the only way you're going to defeat Roe is with a Constitutional amendment, but why worry about that? It doesn't let you sell your lies and vent your spleen.

Ah, well.

Quote:

You're not being honest with your intention, rainee. There's literally no reason in "returning" a post. You were just venting your spleen. Why you thought I'd put up with it is anyone's guess.

Quote:

Nothing in what you wrote makes that point.

Quote:

Shots across the bow. Essentially I was noting that there's no real reason to lock into a contest when a point can be made as well as it ever will be with a few posts.

I didn't say that. Feel free to send me a PM on any point and I'll be glad to clear it up.

I don't spin and why would anyone take a moment to explain anything to someone who denigrates the effort before I've begun?

Well, I'll do it. Just shoot me a PM. I won't answer it here, but I will answer any inquiry sent by PM.

Sad, sad, sad, sad, sadder....I mean that's ridiculous...I can't even pretend to play along with something like...disappointed doesn't even begin to..."Blue"...like that's even kosher...

The rest of it rocked like Bon Jovi at a rest home though.

Anna, Anna, don't even start to think like that...I mean, it could have been a dare or something... Or maybe an accident. Sometimes I forget to hit the red check...so then.

Now it's darn near impossible to even gather--right chrys?

Sill too soon? Well, Jello for everyone then.

Then, in Dharma's new guy thread...

bs wasn't...though everyone knows the two of you are thick as thieves. In fact, I can't tell you how often I've heard the two of you talked about together. Wherever chrys goes, there goes bs.

Then Eeset had a neat idea...

But things got sideways in chrys "vote like men" thread...

So saith the chrysostom.
Yeah. That's what we get for giving them shoes and birth control...and microwave ovens.

That won't happen, because the party is about a great deal more. That's why you've never had an effective position that will advance the agenda, only one that will advance your apparent desire to feel morally superior.

You change people's ideas on abortion, on the issue (and that shift has been happening for a while now) and eventually you change that plank. You try to make it about the party and you broaden the resistance and division. You should be able to understand that, but you don't appear to want to.

I'll likely vote Paul. I wish Huntsman had the Republican nod, but that's that.

Leading to the inevitable interjection by some she female...

See what I mean? I bet you own a microwave too. And you obviously can read, so you must have been reared in a "progressive" household.

Now go cover your head. Preferably with a Bible.

You need it, but you don't really want it. So no.

You've been reasoned with and responded with bad poetry. Go raise vegetables and yaks. Yams. Yams and yaks. You could even put a sign outside of your home:

"Chrysostom's Yak and Thanks for the Yammary."
(All purchases final.)

That would be something...

One of your more unintentionally funny posts in hours.

Beyond that, noting that all of his posts, numerous and continual, are giving the Republican Party a hard time seems like a waste of time. It's like taking a great many pictures of the Pope to expose his penchant for large hats.
Eh...a short couple of days.

You've had both without a change in business/rhetoric as usual.

Now, again, is it harder to change people on an issue and move the plank or to change them philosophically and on a wide range of issues? Because no matter which approach, your errant judge notion or the amendment path, that's what you have to do.

I'll wait while you don't answer that simple question.

Actually, most studies show that people with pets are happier and better adjusted, more social and empathetic than people without.

You seem more like the "without" sort.
