Yep. It is an important reminder for us to place God's mercy in the forefront during prayer, rather than rely on a supposed righteousness.

the psg thatseems to say it all as far as what God wnats from us is

Mt 25:31-46

"When i was hungry, you gave me food..." Jesus says

"when did we see you hungry...?" ppl @ judgment ask

"Whatever you did for the least of my Brethren, you did for Me"

and those who cared 4 Him go to Heaven...

those who did not treat other Christians as though they were Christ himsefl...

Amen. I was studying today and I learned a profound mystery of God's mercy. I'm still reflecting on what I learned.

It's not so much a mystery but another step towards understanding the Divine providence of God.
