I'm serious., I heard that because they tend to have small hands and longer fingers, they are more adept at crafting stuff. Like small electronics.

Geez, just saying that make me feel racist.
Lol.

I'd say in many cases adultery causes much more harm than being swindled out of a few bucks.
Some times its much MUCH more than a few bucks, people who embezzel a few bucks are usually not even found out and if they are its a slap on the wrist. Its the 5, 6, 7 figure embezzelments that are a big deal. When you steal money like that you are litterally stealing someones time and life, someone had to trade their time and life to generate that wealth so I dont see how adultry is worse.

In order for any of this to work we would have to do away with no fault divorce, the one at fault needs to be held responsible and the innocent spouse should be free to go and be free of any liability (alimony, child support, etc). I still think that assets should be fairly divided, like if someone had some asset before the marriage, etc. Alimony should never come into play unless they spouse that is cliaming it can prove that they had significant roll in some buisness that was created during the marriage, but they they could just split interests in the buisness. I guess if she were a stay at home mom for 18 years I can see that but only if she was innocent in the divorce.

If the govt cracked down on stuff like this they they would have to be liberal with what was considered "fault", a woman being a prude and refusing any reasonable sexual act in bed (ie any act that does not cause tangible physical pain) should be justification for a divorce, that would be the only way the system could work otherwise you would jsut have the same mess we have now.

It seems like society agrees that emotional and physical abuse on a woman constitues divorce but a womans passive aggressive refusal of sex is a ok unless it gets "extreme", that social acceptance would have to change otherwise guys will just cheat or he will totally neglect her to get her to do something and it becomes a big game.

Lots of things have to change to rein in this problem, feminists dont want sexual refusal to be a social no no so we will continue to have these issues, for some reason prudishness is deeply entrenched in the church as well, married or not.

To many issues and disagreements in our society to make it a criminal act, any representitive that supported it would be crusified.

On the one hand Christians constantly insist they don't want to go peeping into people's bedrooms; then they demand the state does just that. Uh-huh.

Theocrats are Social Darwinists.

Christianity has nothing applicable, appropriate, or worthwhile to offer the 21st century.

What is the difference between a sin and a crime? People demonize crime more then sin, except of course when it's convenient to serve a good ol' vice versa. In which case, this stupid, utterly absurd thread is a perfect example. You can't be a Christian and agree with this nonsense. It is unChristly and ridiculous.
Can you offer even one example of Christ being against adultery being illegal?
