Work out your own salvation does not mean that you should work for your salvation in order to obtain it. The Greek phrase "work out" denotes the expression, manifestation, or actualization of something one already posses. The Philippians are to "work out" the salvation God has already wrought out for them carrying it to its logical conclusion. God has already granted them salvation not for just their own profit, but for the good of others as well. If they work it out and manifest the new life divinely worked in them, they will live lives worthy of the Gospel, in harmony with each other, seeking the progress of the Gospel. (Taken from my Bible notes)

so i dont believe the devil / his followers
or listen to them
or react according to them (but according to HIM)
(although to some extent, as long as i am in this crummy world, i will always have a struggle with... those entitites... just nice to know that when i am with HIM, the devil and his followers are conquered... But out ther... yikes..)

work out your salvation
even St Paul did not say he was eternally saved...
he said he wasn't aware of anything
but... (etc)
dont know where to fidn it but he says something to the effect that
he is not his own final judge... (tho he is not aware of any sin that would hinder)
