If you think we're the only possible humans. But there were humans before our particular species was here. If Adam was H. erectus, would it matter?

So are plate tectonics, neutrons, solid-state electronics, etc. Not everything true can be found in the Bible. It's about God and man and our relationship.
Keep your new creationists doctrines if you like. God won't send you to hell for being wrong. But it's probably not good for your soul to be mocking Christians who have not added your doctrines to their beliefs.
