Not only is TruthSetsFree in bondage to the law, he is under the law and under condemnation.

To be in bondage to law means that you are trying to please God by your works and obedience to the law.

Catholics must do their religion or they do not believe they are saved. If you have to do something to maintain your salvation you are in bondage to the law and are under the law.

1. They must be members of the Catholic church.
2. They must take the sacraments.
3. They Must be baptized.
4. They must go to confession.
5. They Must tithe.

They must do all of the things that the Catholic church tells them to do. If they don't obey the Catholic church they are anathema, expelled from the Catholic church. To be expelled from the Catholic church means that you are eternally lost.

THIS IS WHAT IT MEANS TO BE IN BONDAGE TO THE LAW.

This is why salvation is by faith and faith alone. Faith does not require that you do something (works of the law) Faith requires that you believe something. Faith means that you are trusting in something that is totally and completely outside of yourself, Saving faith is always faith in the work and the person of Jesus Christ. Faith cannot boast in what it does, simply because faith does nothing but believe.

TruthSetsFree thinks that he is pleasing God by posting numerous threads. These threads have nothing to do with Christ and his Gospel. They are usually about him or the Catholic religion. People who have the Holy Spirit do not lift up themselves or their religion. The reason that Christians have the Holy Spirit is to be a witness for Christ and his Gospel. If you are not witnessing about Christ and his Gospel you may not have the Holy Spirit.
