The path to Glory of God, Salvation and Heaven -

You have probably been very misled.
Reading, hearing, knowing and believing the bible will not save and deliver you. This can only bring your onto faith. Faith enables you to awaken to your own heart or spirit. Your heart or spirit is your unseen (none physical) make up. You can have communion with God only through your heart or spirit and not at all through your flesh or physical body. This is why it is so important to awaken to your own heart or spirit.
First you must awaken to your own heart or spirit and discerning the Spirit of Jesus within your own heart or spirit. Then you must be led unconditionally, into all your works by precisely what the Spirit of Jesus has in mind for you to pray for, say and do, as (intuitively) discerned within your own heart. You must obey the Spirit, even if you have to transgress the Ten Commandments and all other laws and ideals of scriptures (as Abraham was called to do). This is the passage to glory of God and salvation and deliverance.
There is no other passage to glory of God and salvation and deliverance. The kingdom of God is within your own heart. Seek it there first, then all things will be added. Do not try to seek salvation and deliverance, first in the scriptures.
The value of Jesus is not in His physical manifestation (i.e. as man on on earth). Also the value of Jesus is not in the words which He physically delivered when He was on earth in a human physical body. The value of Jesus is in His manifestation in His Spirit (i.e. the Spirit of Truth or the Holy Ghost) and it is also in the words which He delivers to humans directly, privately, individually and intuitively from His Spirit to our hearts or spirits, in real time, all the time.
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal (re. 2 Corinthians: 4 verse: 18). Note that the Bible, including Jesus' physically delivered words, are seen (i.e. they are physically delivered and physically detected).
We do not look at (or turn to) Jesus in the flesh, we look at (or turn to) Jesus in His Spirit. For Jesus in the flesh is temporal but Jesus in the Spirit is eternal.
Now the Lord is that Spirit of Jesus which God sent into the hearts of those under the laws so that they might become adopted children of God (re. 2 Corinthians: 3 verse: 17 and Galatians: 4 verses: 5 & 6)

Are you aware how Abraham came to be promised the Spirit by God?
Romans: 4 verses: 5 to 9 confirmed that God justified the ungodly for Abraham and his seed. By Abraham's absolute willingness to transgress a law in the Ten Commandments (to obey Him), God glorified him and gave him and his seeds the promise to the Spirit, which is the only path to salvation and deliverance. The ungodly is the transgression of Ten Commandments (read, Romans: 4 verses: 5 to 9).
This established God's standard for righteousness of God without laws (re. Romans: 3 verse: 21). Righteousness of God without the law is actually: righteousness of God with God given liberty and justification to transgress all social, moral and religious ideals and laws (including the Ten Commandments) and not get sin.
This is accessed and achieved when one is led into all of one's works by unconditionally obeying precisely what the Spirit of Jesus has in mind for one to pray for, say and do, as discerned within one's own hearts or spirit (re. Romans: 8 verses: 14, 26 & 27). Then one can transgress (break) any or all social, moral or religious law (like the Ten Commandments) and not get sin but be glorified and celebrated by God.
Only Satan would deny this Truth and so blasphemy the Spirit.

Seem that you must initiate the first act, i.e. by seeking first the kingdom . . . .
'to seek ye first' means 'the first thing is you seek'
You have to do this works (of seeking) first, then God will add All things.
If it was not incumbent for humans to make the first move then nothing would stop the good God from adding All thing to us freely.
Fact is if humans do not seek ye first, nothing (not Truth, not salvation, not deliverance, etc.) will come to them.
