This isn't about Paul, it's about Ben.

So what if Christianity isn't what you want it to be or based on what you want it to be? Be Jewish and proud. What does bashing Christianity get you?

Do the Karaites have "proper Jewish foundation"? What about Hasidic Jews; proper foundation?

Your words on TOL are not Jewish so much as simply anti-Christian. Would you prefer all Christians convert to Judaism?

You think Judaism is great? Awesome. Rock on.
What does bashing Christianity accomplish for you or for Judaism?

God is not discoverable or demonstrable by purely scientific means, unfortunately for the scientifically minded. But that really proves nothing. It simply means that the wrong instruments are being used for the job. ~John Bertram Phillips

Ben Masada, You will make a Strong Christian when WE, The Elect take over the World.

Mt 9:16 No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse.
Mt 9:17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.
Mt 13:52 Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.
Mr 2:21 No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse.
Mr 2:22 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.
Lu 5:36 And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old.
Lu 5:37 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish.
Lu 5:39 No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.
1Co 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
IOW, simply Replacement Theology. Or you are simply not serious.

Ben

Well, not that my intent is to convert Christians to Judaism, but, since you ask, as a result of my personal studies with them, five former Gentiles from the Seventh-Day Adventist Church have converted to Judaism. Two of the girls got married here with two nice Israeli young men and each has given birth to two Jewish children. It means that I have contributed to Judaism with nine souls, plus two from the "Messianic Jews" faction that have returned to Judaism proper. But all from my face-to-face dialogue with. Through internet forums, it is just close to impossible.

My work with Christians can hardly be referred to as bashing Christianity. I am just trying to bring to their mind that, to pick up a Jew to hellenize Judaism with him is nothing different from vandalizing Judaism with a foreign religion.

IMHO, the Karaites do have proper Jewish foundation because their views are more akin to the Bibical Judaism than Rabbinical Judaism. But Rabbinical Judaism also has proper Jewish foundation where distinction is made between literal and metaphorical interpretations. Even Kabbalah, where they shun superstitions in favor of metaphorical interpretation, I can see proper Jewish foundation. But the study of Kabbalah, usually leads to superstions.

Christianity is out of question. Its foundation is essentially hellenistic.
