Titus 3:4-5 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

The Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins (not Mary), was buried and on the third day God raised Him from the dead for your justification proving that ALL of your sins are paid in full. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.
Rather, it is because Christ died on the cross for your sins that you should trust Him believeing the gospel of Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV), the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth. Romans 1:16-17 KJV)She is not your pattern (1 Timothy 1:16 KJV).
Who is it that a believer today is told to follow?

Begging God for mercy would be an indication that I don't believe I have received mercy.
