I like to go by personal experience first, and I can't say I've observed this in any of my homosexual friends, family, classmates, or coworkers. I can't say I know each and every one of them on a personal level, but from everything I do know they're just like normal people. Not all of them have perfect lives, but I don't perceive any sort of pattern across the board.
When I expand that and include people I read about or see on television, I still don't see any patterns. Yes, you'll see the occasional messed up person or eccentric celebrity, but nothing I wouldn't expect from any other group of people.
I'm not ignorant on the subject, I'm simply came into this from a different angle.
