Contest for a guest pass key for Diablo III - May 21st, 2012, 11:36 AM

So the most talked about topic of the last week has been Diablo III. The game that sees you destroying the legion of Hell along side archangel Tyrael in a quest to deliver righteous justice. The game came with a few guest passes for part of the first Act and I gave a couple to a couple friends who didn't buy the game. The rest bought it, no joke it's amazing how many people actually bought the game. I have one key left and I hate to see it go to waste. Maybe you want to play, maybe you have an old enough child or grandchild who would like to try it, so I thought I'd post an offer to give it away.

First person to message me with a correct answer to this question gets the key.

What is the best website and community on the internet for discussing theology?

Now now, don't post the answer and ruin it! PM me your answer and the first person gets a pm with the key back . Good luck!

I got a free copy after the Mrs Reals renewed her WoW subscription last year.

I must say, I kinda like it. Only played a wizard and a monk so far. While the graphics and world are not too different from Diablo 2, the musical score and ambient sounds are much better. Still doesn't hold a candle to the soundtrack from the first game, but then what does?

Diablo 3 also brings back some of the horror aspects of the first game, something I felt missing in the second. The story and voice acting are also good thus far.

And of course the combat mechanics are excellent. The first boss was a lot more interactive and took more strategy than just standing in front of it and clicking.

But otherwise I dunno. While I like the game and see that it's improved on everything in Diablo 2, I don't feel like it's different enough. And I still don't think it recaptured the feel of the first one. But that may not have been Blizzard's goal.

Yea, that is Blizzard for you . They keep their games very similar to the last and only really make a new one once technology advances enough to warrant it.

My only complaints about the game is that it is online only...... which doesn't make sense considering the game has a single player component. Then they don't have skill points anymore and they just have runes. That is a big change but one I am starting to like. Overall, it makes me not want to play any other games so I can say it's a good, addictive time sink .

Yeah, the online part does bug me since it's no more multiplayer than the previous games. And it is distracting me from my Champions Online community...I told them I "just needed a break".

Champions Online eh? Sounds intriguing, they must be missing you! I heard that is like City of Heroes. Is it free to play?

Yep, Champs has been free to play since last year. It's a really great mmo, but I don't think they advertise enough. Definitely give it a try. It has a few similarities to CoH since they are the same genre and have some of the same design team, but the gameplay and look of the game is very different.

Will give it a try. I like free to play games, I have also been meaning to try out that League of Legends game. I hear MOBAs are all the craze right now but I've never played one beyond some mods for Warcraft III.
