It was a bit broader than that. You might not, I don't know your traditions, but most around here I'd imagine spend more time with their larger family this time of year, get time off work, exchange presents, that sort of thing.
As to the more serious discussion (because we both know Jesus wasn't born on the 25th day of December) I like Brother Lawrence's approach in the Practice of the Presence of God. Keep yourself mindful, speak to God in prayer and thanksgiving throughout the day. Sounds like that's something of what you're talking about. So while it wasn't my original point in asking, glad to hear it.
