say you'll get back to them but never bother

post links to those which properly answer their question

sum up previous promises which were never successfully fulfilled

send them countless positive reps with weird comments "like it's a wonderful day in San Antonio, I hear" or "babies aren't dishwasher safe."

Put on a new pot of coffee.

Reference an unheard of show.

On the other hand, I once put up a QR code in a classroom, and every 6th grader got it.

The downside of doing this, since you don't return the abuse, is that the oaf might realize you're the first person on the net to treat him with anything like respect, and want to be your friend.

I don't use it much anymore, but sometimes it's the only way to handle a really persistent creep.
