I don't know what your issue is, but you just asked me to post what he posted, so I have answered your request. I'm not sure you understand what he posted. You are all up in arms about something.
Let me ask you a question, to see where you go with this.
There is an individual in the Bible that went by three names, as I understand it.
Is it "Simon", "Peter", or "Cephas"?
Have you ever heard of the phrase, "by translation of his name"?
My friend uses Yeshua... and you are accusing him of using the name Jesus.
I use Jesus, and Yeshua. Whichever makes sense in the context of the conversation I am having. There is no reason for me to worry about the pronunciation, if it is the same name. People may argue one name over another. But with anyone else's name it wouldn't matter. You point out idolotrous names. Well what is idolotrous about the name Jesus? I don't see it.
It is not true that everyone we witness to is Hebrew.
If it is not for your glory, then why are you concerned about people giving you respect?
I'm not disrespecting you. So quit accusing me that I am. We are having a conversation. And instead of talking to me you want to talk to the masses through me. That is disrespect.
Shalom.
Deuteronomy 10:12 (KJV) And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,
Deuteronomy 10:13 (KJV) To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

I apologize for my disrespect. You are correct about what I highlighted and I will leave it at that. I had no intent to disrespect anyone, but since I have offended you, to continue would only wind up in more strife. I am weary of it too. I stand upon the point I was trying to make. And leave it at that. It is The Scriptures that have the final Word on it, for "all mankind"...The Word made flesh walked among us, and it is our loving duty to walk as He walked. So, forgive me for offending you, or your friend, I will be on the way now. I'm done striving with you. Yahu'Shua will see you through. Or Yeshua. Or Y'Shua. Whichever you prefer. I do hope you reconsider the letter J that wasn't even used until the 1400's. And remember, "no lie is of the truth". "It is not what goes in...but what comes out that defiles a man." I've spoken to you with love in my heart for you. Sorry you misunderstood me.
Shalom to you also.
Chris
1Jn 2:12 I write to you, little children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of His Name.
YeshaYahu (Isaiah) 8:20: To the Torah and to the witness! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because they have no daybreak.
1st Kepha (Peter) 4:11: If anyone speaks, let it be as the Words of Elohim. If anyone serves, let it be as with the strength which Elohim provides, so that Elohim might be praised in it all through יהושע (Yahu'Shua) Messiah, to whom belong the esteem and the rule forever and ever. Amĕn.

You have a good name, Chris.
Being a Christian is like being a Messianic, but there is a distinction in the names as well.
I knew the J in English is different from the yod in Hebrew.
God bless... and I hope we will meet again in the best of circumstances.

Me too. And I do understand, I was catholic until 3rd grade, then lutheran from 3rd though 8th...then public school 'til I went in the Navy. It wasn't until Abba Yah dropped me to my knees just before 9-11-2001 that I began to be guided by Him. Or I began to "listen". The first time I heard the Name Yahu'Shua was in a prayer by Chuck Missler. More than a decade ago. Then I read in Revelation where "He who holds the key of David". Then I went to the Psalms, and was guided back to "H3050". Then for some reason I found out about the letter J. Then I went searching for more. All the time asking and begging The Father for more and more. I renounced the lies as I was shown them, and so I was shown more. So I do not go back, nor to the right or left, I keep looking forward. Always asking, always listening. So then He led me to e-Sword the bible program, and then led me to find the Bible called "The Scriptures"...and at the same time, caused me to read a book called "Come Out of Her My People". And I dropped hard. The references were all there, I WAS A PAGAN BEFORE! Then in the Bible called the Scriptures, I went back to the Book of the Psalms. I remebered what He said about how He revealed Himself to His on the Road to Emmaeus. And He shows me His Name "Yah". H3050! And The One who holds "the Key of David" had opened a door. One that no man can ever shut. From there I have learned much. And not without battles. Or battling through the garbage to get to it. But now I understand about the relationship The Father desires with His Children. It is for all mankind. IF they "do the Father's desires". But they really need to get a grip on Respect for THE HOUSE OF YAH. Names mean something. I was named Christopher because my mom was a catholic, and that saint carried children, giving his own life for theirs. My first name is Adrian, after my dad. But it goes back to an evil man and means dark one. No, I didn't come to bring peace either, but a sword. That's just the way it is for me. I accept my place.
“יהוה bless you and guard you; יהוה make His face shine upon you, and show favour to you; יהוה lift up His face upon you, and give you peace.” ’ “Thus they shall put My Name on the children of Yisra’ĕl, and I Myself shall bless them.”
