I think the Mayans wrote that on the missing stone. Or maybe they were Cowboy fans (in an odd twist) and just didn't care after they saw that coming.

You might be on to something.

My Falcons ! - December 31st, 2012, 06:47 AM

You know, it really depends on what Falcons show up in the playoffs. If you are going to play your starters the full game for a lesser opponent, we should have won that game, but with that said, I still like our chances, the team may have relaxed focus just a tad bit with all the hype about needing to win in the playoffs and already having the bye secured, but with that said, The First Team should have played the First half only and then play the rest of your backups, then a lost to a lesser opponent would not look so bad !

Rom 2:28-29

28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

I fear you might be looking at a one and done. I'd say definitely if you'd lost your wheels and your home field the way Houston did, but I'm still recording the weakest point in your season moving into the playoffs.

I'll post my weekly power ratings ending week 17 as the first post of NFL Play Offs 2013, coming soon. But I'm not optimistic about your chances.

As you can see, home field does not alkways translate to Victory. We Just lost to Tampa Bay at Home, and struggled with Carolina, Oakland and Arizona.

Atlanta just needs to play uo to their potential each game, if they do that in the playoffs, they will win the Superbowl.

So...

Giants are out, so are the Cowboys.

Everything really worked out for New England yesterday--they finished the season by curb stomping a divisional opponent, Gillette turned into a snow globe, and the Pats get a first round bye. Best it could've been, really.

Indy looks like they can play anywhere with anybody. Be afraid, Ravens. Be afraid.

Cincinnati won't be fazed at all by going back to Reliant. The Texans are toothless.

Atlanta looks like they've got "One And Done" written all over them. Beware Seattle.

Peyton and Tom continue to approach the inevitable...

Good post (same to you Beloved) and I'd like to respond to it but would you mind moving it over to the new NFL playoff thread? I'll be closing this one in a few.

Here's the link.

Thanks.
