Thank you oh so much for pointing out problems that have been with us since the first human being to hurl an insult instead of a stone founded civilization

Well, preachers always were good at pointing out the obvious. That's why you can watch so many heads nodding in agreement on Sunday mornings.

If it's so obvious then why don't you ever hear liberal politicians point to those factors as the cause of poverty?

Because to do so is redundant.

Everybody knows What's Really Going On™, even if they'd rather not think about it. They pay preachers and politicians to tell them what they want to hear. That's the way it's always been.

It isn't like the problems listed above will ever be eradicated.

Conservative politicians talk about those subjects. Why not liberal politicians?

I think if you check that all politicians talk about those subjects to some degree or other. It's just what they are suggesting we do about them that's differing...

Yeah, liberal politicians talk about those subjects but not as the cause of poverty.

So it's all or nothing, eh? If these problems can't be utterly eradicated, we should make no attempt to prevent them whatsoever?

I guess we should just cease all forms of criminal justice. After all, no threat of punishment will prevent all crime.

I fail to see what you're on about; it isn't like you're suffering...

Of course not, then you couldn't tell they were liberal, could you?

Well, your team has certainly done a bang-up job of things; you've managed to accomplish somewhere between jack and squat in the last two thousand years or so.

If the police had the authority to snuff criminals at the scene, the crime rate would plummet.

So our best bet is to simply abandon due process; he is right who has the biggest stick.

You are a fan of the "Judge Dredd" form of law enforcement, eh?

Hey, Dredd rocks! The TBs around here would do well to tear some pages from his playbook...

But they don't have the TF to do that...
