We had a literacy test that had to be taken to vote. The blacks kept failing the literacy test because they were uneducated. The blacks complained. We no longer can have literacy tests for voting.
And why were they uneducated? Because the Jim Crow laws kept them in poverty and inferior social status. Money for schools were little-to-none, there were few qualified teachers. In short, the white power structure kept them ignorant, poor and oppressed so that people like you could profit from their misery.

You exhibit a very well-developed sense of Right and Wrong and believe in economic fairness.
the Graph
Between Gorby and Gandhi and between Democrat and Socialist.
Not a surprise there, Social Democracy is the best way to go. The best of all systems while seeking to eliminate the worse of it.
I took a British version once, and fell between Gandhi and Tony Benn.

What restrictions? A man can marry any woman he chooses. Sound like total freedom to me.
That's like saying, "You're free to do whatever I want you to." If I can't do exactly what I want, it's a restriction. Some are necessary (like don't murder people), but telling people whom thay can marry helps no one and hurts many.

The government is not telling any man which woman he must marry.
No, it's telling him whom he can't marry, even if that's what he wants.
So? The government tells a man whom he can't murder and who he can't steal from even if he wants......
You just compared marriage to murder and theft. Wow, glad I'm not married to you!

Shouldn't that be up to him?
No.
Then who should it be up to? Do I get to decide who's right or wrong for you?

Or is it that you know what's best for him?
I know what's best for me, a world without homos is best. Short of that, a government that doesn't sanction homosexual 'marriage' will have to do.
How is that attitude any different than "I know what's best for me, a world without Jews in it?" Why does that sound so familar?
By all means, if you can't personally enforce your hatred of others, let the government do it for you.

Ask the Romans....oh wait, they're no longer around to respond!
Wow, I had no idea that homosexuals were responsible for the fall of the Roman Empire! Those pesky gays...they can topple entire governments! No wonder you are so afraid of them.

No I didn't, I just demonstrated that the government legislates and enforces laws.

We do not put up with anti-semitism at TOL. This is your final warning.

The only person I hate is you, but I don't expect the government to do anything about it.

So tell us 'Unbeliever', how long have you been gay?
Probably since he was 5 and you raped him.

Now we have it. BB is an obvious liar. He already said that he hates me. He also said that he hates "ragheads", "*******" and "wetbacks". I would thing that he would have an easier time naming the people he doesn't hate.
