Well, he has said that he would only fight in the army if it was FOR Germany, or AGAINST Israel. And even if he doesn't hate Jews, his apathetic attitude toward the Holocaust is horrible. And I'm not sure what "great many wonderful" ideas you think Hitler had, but you are definitely right to say the bad outweighed the good.
Hitler had some great ideas. To deny that is anti-historical. Look at, for example, the autobahn. Or the Blitzkrieg. The list goes on. But we don't "revere" Hitler, for obvious reasons.

I didn't mean to say that he had NO good ideas. I just think a "great many wonderful" was too much. And the world probably could have done without blitzkrieg.
the fact that he LOOKs bad isn't the real problem. He has the heart of a murderer!
For the Love of God, all i said was "I don't care! It doesn't affect me." How can that be considered "advocating and supporting" genocide? Honestly, can you say the same thing about anything else? "Hey Joe, what do you think about the shipment of apples from Washington state?" "I dunno, i don't like apples, it don't really affect me." "You are advocating the apple shipment, i shall have you held accountable!"
Besides, if you are anti Holocaust, then your beef is with Himmler more than Hitler.

The fact that you just compared a shipment of apples to the mass murder of Jews just proves your ignorance.
Yeah, you're right, they probably wouldn't have a strong opinion on the apples.
Then why did you ask?

What do you think they would say about the genocide of the Jews?
I don't particularly think that the Church has one official stance or the other as concerning Naziism and the like. Granted, a lot of people in the church are against Naziism. Just like the death penalty. The Church doesn't have one official stance or the other as condemning death penalty, though a lot of people in the church are against it. I would presume that "genocide" would fall under the category of murder presuming that there are no mitigating factors.
I -can- say this: John Paul II didn't like Naziism...but he was a Polack.

I didn't, but I should have specified that I meant the Jew murder, not the apples.

So since it is in the category of murder, is it safe to assume Mother Church wouldn't support it?
And the DP is completely different from the Holocaust, so if you were trying to compare the two, don't. It won't work.

Absolutely...presuming there are no mitigating factors.

I am just saying that John Paul II would have been inherintly against Naziism and Communism because he was a Polack. Hitler took the front, Stalin took the back. When Germany lost the war, and Naziism ceased to exist as an influence in Poland, guess what took over? Communism!

Ok. Now my question is this: Do you think there were any "mitigating factors" in the situation of the Nazis and the Jews?

Well are there any popes that weren't Polish that were against the Nazis?
And the fact that communism came after the Nazis lost power doesn't matter. We're talking about the Nazi genocide of the Jews.

I'll go ahead and plead the fifth on that one.
Ok. Well why do you hate Jews? You obviously have something against them. You've previously said that you would only fight for German or against Israel. So, what do you have against the Jews?

No idea. John Paul II was in there for a long time.
ok.

I am just saying he wouldn't have liked either one. Heck, after he got shot, I am pretty sure he would have been all for gun control, too.
Are you now comparing the Holocaust to gun control??

What you really should say is "For the Love of Hitler" because God is clearly far from your mind or reverance.
My beef is with you because you hate God and therefore you hate other people.

Do you know on what day God created animals?
The Fifth!, so i plead.

No, i am comparing the holocaust to that contest where the archers would fire arrows at the apples...except replacing the bows and arrows with guns.
