I'm not big on his politics but I was blown away at the live concert I went to by their stage presence. They absolutely play to their audience and that's what makes him a powerful spokesperson for his causes. It isn't that the music is so great as it is the stage show just blows people away and they wind up listening to Bono's message because of it.
