Ron Paul is pro-choice on abortion, state by state - December 29th, 2007, 01:38 PM

Ron Paul: "while Roe v. Wade is invalid, a federal law banning abortion across all 50 states would be equally invalid." 1-31-06

Paul's Christian supporters are in denial. First, they deny that Paul is against a federal ban on abortion, even though he attempts to codify that position in his misnamed "Sanctity of Life" bills. And once they concede his godless position of allowing the states to systematically murder the innocent, then they fall prey to Paul's invalid and contradictory states' rights rhetoric against the unborn. Paul rejects the inalienable, God-given right to life of the unborn. He rejects the personhood of the tiniest humans. He betrays his supposed commitment to the Constitution by refusing to uphold its commitment to our posterity, and its demand that no innocent person shall be deprived of life without due process. (And supposedly, Paul believes the unborn are people who have the right to life.)

Ask a mayoral or gubernatorial candidate about abortion, and they say, "that's a federal issue." Ask most Republican candidates about abortion, and they say, "that's a state issue." Both sides are punting; like cowards, punting the most critical and controversial issue that stands today before government. No other right can be exercised if the right to life is denied.

Paul sins against God in his apathetic position of allowing the states to murder children. And to the extent that Paul knows in his heart that abortion is wrong, to that extent he is also a traitor to his nation, and even its Constitution, lusting after power instead of standing for the right to life of the vulnerable. Ron Paul is not qualified to teach Sunday School, let alone lead a nation.

The inalienable right to life trumps states' rights, and no state has the right to legitimize the owning of blacks, killing of Jews, or aborting children. If you support Ron Paul, you support tolerance of the massacre of innocence, and I call on you to repent.

Ron Paul is far more seriously pro-life than GW Bush.
Ron Paul is clearly very passionate and insistent about the FACT that life begins at conception. He has delivered over 4,000 babies in his career as an OBGYN.
Ron Paul is for freedom, but he has clearly stated that to kill the unborn is not a personal freedom issue, but first and foremost an issue of the right to life.
His belief that it should be a state issue stems from his commitment to uphold the Constitution, and the ideals of the founding fathers.

Ron Paul is by far the most pro-life candidate running for the presidency, and his bold views on abortion are just one thing that sets him a tier about the other candidates who all come off as stooges to me that just want to push party agenda and maintain the status quo.

You shouldn't slander this brave man.

All he is "pro" about is keeping the government out of the business of
running people's lives. That's his agenda, that's the traditional "right wing"
agenda, limit the power of government. Government running people's lives
is a two edged sword, Bob. IF you're for the governmetn legislating gayness and
marriage and abortion, don't cry the blues when they start legislating things you're
against.

Bob, I'm all for your righrt to say whatever you want in the pulpit, against abortion,
gayness as sin,, hetero marriage, its all fine. But stick to Christ's path, by appealing to people's hearts, not legislation. Christ never appealed to Rome for legislative reform. Your ability to change hearts is directly related to the freedom people enjoy to accept change, without being forced.

1 John 4:7-8 "Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love."

I guess some people are incapable of thinking he might be actually pro-life, state by state.

I have to confess that I have no idea who Ron Paul is, but I suspect few world leaders would make good Sunday School teachers, although the students might find them interesting nonetheless.

Considering he wouldn't recommend a presidency, period, I think the question's rather moot.

Yeah Bob, if people want to kill Dave, appeal to their hearts.

Dave, you do not understand what the Scriptures say about the heart.

For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

We have real enemies in the world. These enemies must be found. They must be pursued and they must be defeated.

I think Alan Keyes is a very eloquent speaker.
I like a lot of his views. I like what he says about pornography for example, but I don't think the answer is to start a government run concept "war" on pornography.
He also promotes fullscale preemptive aggression against other countries by using fear. "Do you want to die?"

"I think we have to destroy their infrastructure and deal decisively with those governments that are willing to aid and abet them and possibly give them weapons of mass destruction that could kill hundreds of thousands of Americans.

I would rather make a tough decision, based on the information we've got — and do what's necessary to prevent weapons of mass destruction that could kill 100,000 people — than to wait for the wisdom of hindsight to defend our people."

This is the same kind of logic GW used to get us bogged down in Iraq.
What is more, he would do it to try to save the lives of hundreds of thousands of people, but as the war in Iraq has proven the invasion has cost the lives of hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis.
Who are just as human as we are, even though they do wear towels on their heads.

I think that a lot of peaceful muslims find our country morally repugnant even though we think we have the high ground. They are appalled by our slaughter of the unborn and must think that we are horribly barbaric.

I know it isn't saying much. Just a lot of the pro-life people I know are rabid bush defenders.
