7 Reasons Why George Carlin Did Not Go To Hell - June 23rd, 2008, 06:46 PM

7 Reasons Why George Carlin Did Not Go To Hell

This is the show from Monday June 23rd, 2008.

SUMMARY:

* The Foul-mouthed Comedian: George Carlin did not go to hell because:

Reason 1: he did more evil than good
Reason 2: because he didn't tithe
Reason 3: because he promoted abortion
Reason 4: because he had a filthy mouth
Reason 5: because he didn't keep the commandments
Reason 6: because he wasn't a Republican
Reason 7: because he didn't go to church

George Carlin went to hell because he despised the sacrifice of Jesus Christ who bled and died to pay for Carlin's sin and was resurrected to overcome death and give eternal life to those who humble themselves and trust in Him.

* Prepping Children for Filth: Disney, Pixar, and Thomas are all in the tank for those who want to prepare innocent children to accept filth as part of their normal conversation. That is why Pixar, in partnership with Disney, asked George Carlin to perform the voice of a character in their animated Cars movie. Carlin also narrates Thomas the Tank Engine. Why? Because kids naturally fall in love with these characters, and when children grow to trust these voices, then, when the boy or girl is 13 and watching cable TV, and he or she sees a filthy George Carlin routine, hearing the voice they came to love, and they hear the perversion falling out of his mouth, because of Carlin's work for Disney, Pixar and Thomas, the child's guard is down.

Hit Entertainment produces kids programs like Rainbow Magic and Thomas the Tank Engine. They claim their "company values" means that, "HIT's trusted content is safe and wholesome, created with attention to detail and thoughful (sic) consideration to the hearts and minds of children everywhere." That is manifestly not true. If it were, Hit Entertainment would not distribute children's programming narrated by someone known for his foul mouth.

Far from accidental, selling children's entertainment produced by an icon of filth is designed to push the godless perversion of the UK's Hit Entertainment, Pixar, and Disney onto our unsuspecting families and their children.

* Please Send Seven Sheets to ARTL: Please help American RTL welcome the DNC to Denver this summer! They need 100 people to send them seven sheets each for a top secret project called the Sheets of Shame! Can you send any sheets? If you can't send seven, can you send one or two? Can you go to a second hand store? Can you call a hotel, hospital, nursing home, motel, jail, or ask some friends? To do a proper greeting, here's what...

ARTL's DNC Welcoming Committee needs:
-What: Sheets and more sheets
- Quantity: 700 sheets
- Color: white or light colored
- Style: flat, preferably; but fitted sheets ok
- Size: queen, preferably; but others ok, especially king
- Info: Office@AmericanRTL.org or 1-888-888-ARTL
Please bring or mail your sheets to:
American RTL
1535 Grant St #303
Denver CO 80203

* Please Help Bob with a Personhood Project: If you can, please volunteer to help Bob on one of these projects:
- Team131: if you're able to spend at least five hours at your PC helping with a vital online project!
- Travel: if you can travel outside the state, in June, July, or August, for a few days and cover your own expenses, Bob will be traveling on very important out-of-state missions in support of Colorado's personhood amendment effort! Would you like to go? If so, please let ARTL know at 1-888-888-ARTL!

- Metro Team: if you're able to come out occasionally for an important project in the Denver area, please let Donna at CRTL know!

* Drive Denver's Truth Truck: Colorado Right To Life's Truth Truck coordinator, Vick Lopez, called into BEL to ask if you (yes, you!) can volunteer to drive. Please call CRTL at 303 753-9394 if you think you can drive their standard transmission Truth Truck on a two-hour route once every week or two!

Today's Resource: Have you heard about our new Bible Study of the entire Book of Judges, that presents the biblical teaching on treaties, the judiciary, and the best form of government, coming out soon on CD? Call to order Judges at 1-800-8Enyart and check out our many Bible Study resources!

Yes, he MAY BE in Hell. Don't gloat.

The true National Debt of the United States is $18.964 Trillion. Therefore, our debt as a percentage of GDP is really 130%. This is beyond the level reached during World War II. We are no longer the manufacturer to the world. We are the consumer to the world. The country adds $4 Billion per day to the National Debt.

Do you honestly think that's what he's doing?

Surest way to get to hell, is to announce who's going there. Pay attention to the condition of your soul, and tend to the growth of your children, and let God sort it out Himself.

I'm sure He can do a better job than any of us can.

It is sad actually Poly.

It is just as easy to say I hope he repented. And leave it at that. Instead of some long winded diatribe about the 7 things on why he didnt go to hell. There was no need for that. That is my opinion, just as what he said was his.

Bob is right, it just comes out wrong.

Maybe I am just in a not so good mood today Poly, pardon my interruption.

I listened to it again, and I just took it wrong the way he said it.

I think it is rather sad that the day he realized that the Bible really is true is the day he met the Lord , guilty of all his sin. I also believe it is a shame that there were people in George Carlin's life who knew he was lost and did not warn him that he was heading for the judgement. My hat goes off to those who tried to tell him.

Also, I am not bothered by those who point out that individual sins are not the reason people are condemned. George Carlin used every breath of his life to degrade and destroy everything that God calls noble and of good report. It is a very good thing to see that people will not get away with treating the Lord that way. He had his entire life to repent. He was not sorry for any part of his sin.

using his name as a byword is not the same as gloating; it is just plain good use of a living example, some are good and some, well, you know

I agree with all but reason 2 “because he didn't tithe” This is something I believe one does to help their church, not money for God and not a mandatory thing. It is charity that is what is important and some persons dedicate their time to charity because they cannot spare money.

No, no, that's not the point being made. I listened to this show, and the point being made was that we should not tithe, but give cheerfully, as we can, and as we feel led. Many churches push tithing, and say that we must tithe and guilt people into it, but he's saying that that is wrong.

Number 2 was just showing that tithing is not a necessary thing, and it is wrong to guilt people into tithing.

Agree, I did not fully understand the point. I often have trouble getting the point these days

No, I can understand your confusion, without hearing the show.

It is also not a sin not to be Republican, not go to church, etc.

So it is incorrect to say the evil God-haters go to Hell? The Bible say they do, should we not believe the Bible?

I don't understand why pointing out the choice Carlin made and the natural consequence of that choice is considered to be "gloating". He rejected Christ all his life, and as far as can be known, up until his death. According to scripture the result of that choice is clear.

I think the point was to explain that while George went to Hell, that these are not the reasons why.

Not to mention that even if tithing was for this dispensation, not tithing still doesn't cause people to go to Hell. In fact, people don't go to Hell for not giving anything.

They go to Hell because they reject Jesus Christ, and His finished work.

Sorry, I'm the Doctor, I'm very clever.
