Where is the evidence for a global flood?
That doesn't make sense to me.

Yeah, sympathy would be extremely hard to produce. A meteor blowing their building into toothpicks during a fully attended service sounds good to me.

We are not required to manufacture sympathy. But we are required to conform our thoughts to that which is moral and behave accordingly. I struggle with my own thoughts of vengeance whenever I hear about heinous behavior, but, how can I condemn hideous deeds if I do hideous deeds myself? Self defense and protection of the vulnerable and the innocent is mandatory in a civilized society. peace, bybee

I believe that Knight does spend quality time talking to God. It appears to me that he is a person who who cares so intensely that he sometimes speaks before carefully considering the ramifications of his speech. It is better to be a person who cares deeply and occasionally be mistaken than to sit on a fence like the "Mugwumps" do. Of course, the tough part for me, is admitting, doggone it! I hate to make mistakes! But, I do! and I know someone somewhere in TOL'dom will let me know when I do! Thanks for that, bybee

Oh dear... i used to be a nice gentle person that danced and sang and stroked bunny rabbits. Look what youve done to me.

I thought this site may give me a new insight into God , but its been a real let down.

Apart from the likes of John Mortimer.

Time for me to float on.

Just don't come back. Simple as that. We don't delete, nor "shut down" accounts.
