Legally? The last time I checked pedestrians have the right of way, thereby the driver of the vehicle is demonstrating an illegal maneuver, regardless of his professional capacity.

One of the funny things about it is that he stopped to pose for the camera as he was hit. watch it again, he had moved a bit but stopped. The truck driver probably thought he was out of the way like the rest of them.
If a pro-life protester was stopping random traffic (that was uninvolved in the protest) and surrounding and terrorizing vehicles filled with innocent people they would not get any sympathy from me if they were hit by a oncoming truck.
Ah, but would you find it hilarious?

Let me preface this by saying that I don't want to draw too close a parallel between the idiots in the OP video and pro-life protesters. While I strongly disagree with both pro-lifers' message and their methods, I respect them for standing up for a moral issue they strongly believe in.
Having said that, I find it much more offensive when my innocent children are subjected to pictures of mutilated fetuses just by walking or driving in a public street, than seeing some men in drag.
I guess not. Part of the reason this clip is so funny is because of the way the protesters are acting.

That's just plain asinine (in my opinion). But hey... you are free to be offended in any way you see fit.
Oh, man! Hey, maybe he was seriously hurt... Maybe he died, even! Isn't it fun to laugh at people's misfortunes (even if they were acting less than conscientious at the time)?!
Now, how many here who find the truck video so funny were genuinely more concerned with the breaking of the statue of the virgin Mary (ie: you don't find it funny), than you were with the potentially fatal injury of a real human being?

First of all... the homo in the video wasn't hurt.
Secondly, the video of the breaking statue isn't as funny because there isn't any ironic sense of justice being served. It's just some old dudes that lose their grip on a statue. Personally, I don't really have much sympathy for them because it appears to be a stupid maneuver (having old dudes carry heavy objects) but none the less it's not nearly as funny as a fag playing in traffic getting hit by a truck.

And you know this...how?
Cause unless the man in the video is the man of steel, a truck weighing more than a few tons barred down on him at about the speed of a running back at full stride. I'd rather get hit by the office linebacker than that city vehicle.

I think its more that you would enjoy seeing a fag hurt...how do you know he was a fag?
Could have been a prank for an initiation.

Let's see...human getting run down by truck=funny to Knight?
Statue getting broken = not funny due to old man messing up doing something stupid?
Statue..human...? Is there a value correlation in there?
Never mind...it was just a fag!?

Honestly, it's laughable how so many of you call yourselves Christians. WWJD? Would he laugh at the serious misfortune of others? For some strange reason, that's not the impression of Jesus I took away from the Bible.
Your criticism is a valid one.
I declare the Lordship of Jesus, and am embarrassed that others who make the same claim think this video is funny.
The statue video is funny, especially that the head broke off, kind a ruined the moment I'm sure. But its not as funny as the guy getting hit by the truck. And yes, one of the funniest things about it is he stopped to pose for the camera.

The whole set up was sketchy and dumb. they have a big heavy statue just sitting on that rig, should have been secured to it, and yeah, sorry to sound disrespectful but those old guys probably werent the best choice for carrying it. And when they picked it up and the head was gone I laughed. No concern for the statue, be it Mary or anyone else, but I was glad it didnt land on anyone.
