That could be a new line in those Dos Equis commercials.
In a Spanish accent:
"I don ged drrrunk often. But when I do, id is fun."
On a more serious note. I have overindulged before (in college it was a weekly event). Although as I get older, such indiscretions have a longer lasting effect on my day to day responsibilities.

single malts are glorious in the winter, a summer brew is never a bad thing and a good wine is much appreciated with a good meal.
that said, the little bit of drinking i do partake in these days is derived from my own mixing (ex bartender here). lately i've been partial to either old fashions or bees knees:
old fashion:
-2 parts of good bourbon (i prefer bullit)
-4 splashes of bitters
-1 table spoon of simple syrup (i.e. dissolved cane sugar in hot water, or agave nectar)
-juice from 1/2 a lemon
give it a good stir or shake and serve over the rocks
bees knees:
-2 parts plymouth gin
-1 part fresh lemon juice
-1/2-1 part lavender honey dissolved in hot water
shake well on ice and serve filtered in a martini glass, garnish with a slapped mint leaf

both a lovely in warm weather...enjoy!
You just reminded me that I also like a good dry (not too sweet) carbonated or non-carbonated mead. When it is carbonated it is much more like a cider, when it is non-carbonated it is like a strong white wine.

i could never get into mead, though i do love a good hard cider. then again, some of the belgian triples i've had are approaching mead in that they tend towards a mulling-spiced finish...

Jageirmeister has/had a product that is a very syrrupy mead (I forgot the name). I like it better as an after dinner liquor than something like Grand Marnier, or B&B.

1 oz. lambs white rum, 1 oz. crown royal and 1 oz. fireball...... has no name, and not many people are crazy enough to actuall drink it. but it makes for a sweet way to become comfortably numb.
A blood alcohol level of somewhere between .06 and .12.
I haven't gotten really intoxicated in a while, though. I count calories, and I got a bottle of triple sec...yeah...that was probably a bad idea. It's hard to get drunk off of it without threatening your waistline.
