for years whites in this country barred blacks from attending church with them or confined them to the balcony until many blacks left and started their own christian denominations - then during the Jeremiah Wright saga whites started to judge what was acceptable or unacceptable "speech" within that particular church. what nerve.
look at much of the prophetic criticism directed by the old testament prophets to the Israelites in the old testament of the bible - much of Wright's criticism of America was in keeping with that old testament tradition.

And yet he picked an anti-white, anti-American church to attend.
Really? Care to explain how that works?
my opinion - Wright is no more anti-white than the Old Testament Prophets are anti-Israelite.
If you want to better understand my point read the Prophetic Books of the Old Testament - I won't do your homework for you.

Oh, I'll go there!
It has nothing to do with the way blacks have been treated, my point is about Obama's explanation.
Tell me, did Obama lie or is he too stoopid to hear what Wright's saying? It's one or the other and you're trying diversion tactics.
Doesn't work with me. But nice try.

I think it's you who is uninformed. If you can provide evidence that folks in Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas made blacks feel unwelcomed in church, I'd love to see it. You've obviously never visited any of those states... or our churches.
