You're not gonna convince him that he's in the wrong. Clearly, he's been doing this for a while and seems quite comfortable with it. The only thing you are, Ambassador, is an annoyance. And a minor one at that.

btw, sticking a cross on someone's front yard = Not the message you may be wanting to send. Just sayin'...

If only atheists could be deliberately this honest.

Pretty funny juxtaposition, though.

That doesn't make sense to me.

Or would you just be concerned about yourself and set a good example of not judging him?
Seeing as how you guys equate abortion to genocide, the fact you reserve your weekly activities to only picketing a house is pretty disgusting. Pardon the patriarchal expression, but grow some gonads and wage a war or destroy an abortion facility if it really is genocide. Abolitionists created an underground railroad, organized riots, and killed slave owners. Anti-abortionists... throw up signs.

interesting question for the protestors. Would you go to jail/die to protect an embryo?

Don't encourage them. As the recent murder shows there are some pro-lifers whose commitment to life is less strong than their commitment to ending abortion.
Changing minds is difficult and time-consuming. How much easier it is to simply try and intimidate others into doing what you want...

You hit the nail right on the head.

There also seems to be some very blatant class envy at play in these protests as well. And let's be honest: these protests are about the act itself, not about achieving any kind of change whatsoever.

That is an out right lie and you should know better.

How many of these threads have you read and posted on? How many Bob Enyart shows have you listened to on this topic?

The REASON why the anti-murder crowds picket is to stigmatize the behavior SO THAT people will come to the knowledge of the evil and CHANGE their hearts!

How many times has it been mentioned that one of the goals is to discourage future doctors from going into the filed of killing babies.

If changing peoples hearts isn't the type of change you like...then you can keep your change.

Chat, if you had the first idea about what you were talking about you would know I have said for years here that changing hearts is the only way to stop abortion. I've posted on thousands of threads since 2003. If you haven't been reading, it's not my problem.

Antagonizing a neighborhood and inviting danger into a residential community does nothing for the movement whatsoever.

I'd still like to see some of them answer my question. Would they sacrifice their life or their freedom to save an embryo?

Apparently I DO have the first idea of what I am talking about which is why I charged that you stating that the posters are NOT concerned about change was a lie.

Changing hearts IS the reason why people protest! Bob has said it numerous times and it is repeated often in the abortion threads. So when you say that the protesters only care about the act and "not about achieving any kind of change whatsoever" you are not being truthful.

Your intention may well be on the mark but tactics such as these leave a lot to be desired.

Yes. And I'm sure the hearers had NEVER HEARD IT BEFORE. In this day and age of media and information, going to someone's house especially this guy, and telling him abortion is evil is just harassment.
