Tax Resisters & Tight Vests - February 22nd, 2010, 11:39 PM

Tax Resisters & Tight Vests

This is the show from Monday February 22nd, 2010.

SUMMARY:

* The Old Scam & the Sea: Now the global warming Hucksters have admitted that the sea is not rising. While all these capitulations have led to a crisis of conscience among the Obama youth, Bob and co-host Doug McBurney are just glad, (and quite amused) that the truth is finally coming out!

* Taxes & The Right Wing: Joe Stack was a tax protestor and resister who decided to commit murder and suicide to express his beliefs (and with hopes toward altering tax policy). What should the right wing view be on tax resistance? (And we figure you know the proper position on murder and suicide, but Bob covers that as well).

* Can’t We Just Call it “Clothing”: Not if Liberals in England have their way! Soon we may all be forced to alter our vocabulary to correctly reflect our meaning as regards “gender specific clothing”.

Personhood is the most significant social movement of your lifetime. Will you go down in history as one who fought to end the systematic dehumanization and murder of an entire class of citizen? Or will you stay on the couch in your comfort zone? If you live in any state in America, you can advance personhood via the 2010 ballot or in one of three different ways. If you live in Colorado prepare for the possible "curing period" by calling or e-mailing Personhood Colorado or Colorado Right to Life and letting them know how many signatures you can get if they need you.

Today’s Resource: You can enjoy one or two of Bob Enyart’s entertaining and insightful videos each month, mailed to you automatically, simply by subscribing to the BEL Monthly Topical Videos service! Also, you can check out the other great BEL subscription services!
