Leslie Hanks on Personhood Pt. 2

This is the show from Friday May 28th, 2010.

BEST QUOTE OF THE SHOW:
Quote:
If you believe that the inalienable right to life needs to be enshrined into law beginning at conception (ie. Personhood) but you also believe it is not government's role to secure that right then you fundamentally don't understand that governments are instituted among men to secure our inalienable (ie. God-given) rights.
SUMMARY:

* Gregg Jackson with Leslie Hanks: Guest host Gregg Jackson continues his conversation with Colorado Right To Life Vice President Leslie Hanks. Leslie is also co-sponsor of the Colorado Personhood Amendment 62.

* Republican State Assembly: 79% of Republicans voted for a resolution that said life begins at conception and deserves legal protection. 78% said they would overturn Roe vs. Wade. 82% opposed destruction of embryos for stem cell research.

Today's Resource: The bible tells us to forgive, but does the bible teach that we should always forgive? Can forgiveness actually harm someone? Bob Enyart presents a three-part series on biblical forgiveness.
The Forgiveness series is now available on mp3-CD audio or mp3 download or DVD video at the KGOV store.
