"The earth was without form, and void; and darkness
was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of G-D
moved upon the face of the waters."

Then G-D spoke HIS Word into being.......

"Let there be Light"!

And "There was Light".......

And such 'Light' was to be, and is, Eternal!

So Hope is Alive!

Even though this wicked world begins and ends it's
day in darkness it is good to realize that the 1st Day
of Creation, although begun midst darkness, ended
in 'Light'!

And such 'Light' was not the sun, moon or stars for
they were not created until the 4th Day.

G-D's Word "Let there be Light" became "The Light
which enlightens every man born into the world"
and was "the glory The Messiah had with Our Father
before the world began".......

LIGHT Begot Light.......

LIKE Begot Like.......

The Messiah, "The Light of the world"(Jn8:12).......

The Messiah, "The beginning of The Creation of G-D"(Rev1:1, 3:14).......

The Messiah, "The Son of The Living G-D".......

And Our Father, HE "created all things" by(of, in and thru) The Messiah" (Ep3:9).......

The 1st Day of Creation.

Now if the beginning can not be 'seen' nor understood, then what of the end?

Confusion would reign! And today confusion does reign midst the
religious systems of this world, for apart from "The Light" there is
only darkness, "the blind leading the blind" ;-(

Peace, in spite of the dis-ease(no-peace) that is of this world
and it's systems of religion "for the WHOLE world is under the
control of the evil one"(1JN5:19) indeed and Truth.......

Truth IS and IS Forever, a lie is not.......

Abide in The Truth.......

No, I said it was a nice statement, meaning it posed no question. This 'weaker sex' could have pinned you down and handcuffed you at your present age, less than twenty years younger.

Weaker sex is relevant; women live longer and recover better from serious disease. Males are more genetically varied and less stable than females.

First of all , the DAYS in Genesis do NOT begin with Darkness.

God is a Creator and thus starts with Creating something.

God always starts with LIGHT for God is light.

Ge 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. = 1
Ge 1:5 And the evening was and the morning was - the first day.
Ge 1:7 And God made the firmament . = 2
Ge 1:8 And the evening was and the morning was - the second day.
Ge 1:11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass and trees = 3
Ge 1:13 And the evening was and the morning was - the third day.
Ge 1:16 And God made two great lights; = 4
Ge 1:19 And the evening was and the morning was - the fourth day.
Ge 1:21 And God created great whales = 5

Ge 1:27 So God created man in his own image = 6

The difference is you believe God told Peter what to write word for word, while I think he was inspired, but his attitude reflects his time and that time is partly irrelevant today. We know today women are not a weaker vessel.

As to arm wrestling, you show a good attitude and being that you take things without nonsense fretting and getting pushed out of shape, I will admit at 68, I can not beat you in arm wrestling; however, remember many could win an arm wrestle over Bruce Lee, but never win a fight against the martial arts expert.
