Not quite.. the word Nabi means prophet (as it does in the Bible also), doesn't mean 'of God', simply prophet.
Again you show you are just a poor reader with low comprehension:

His full name, Allenby, (not 'nabi') = "Alla- Nebi" 'God-prophet'.

Your attempt to eliminate "Alla" from "Allenby" is sad, if deliberate, and inept if accidental.

13 For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, 14 if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh and save some of them. 15 For if their being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?

In order for prophecy to be fulfilled, and be seen to be fulfilled with certainty, we must go by what people believed was the year at the time the prophecy was fulfilled before their eyes.

As it happens, every muslim in the Middle East understood the year 1917 to be 1335, as printed on nearly every coin circulating from Morocco to Bagdad.
http://adultera.awardspace.com/AC/1917coinage.html

Daniel's prophecy was well-known in Jerusalem at the time of Allenby's advance, and expectations were already high, with excitement among Jews in the Middle East, and concern among muslims at this time.

This was the very reason the Turks ran without a fight. They were spooked by the prophecy, which was discussed in every Turkish coffee house from Jerusalem to Istanbul.

This also proves that the prophecy is a real miracle, since no matter what date is assigned to Daniel, he couldn't have known
a whole new calendar would be adopted in the Middle East, and no one could have controlled this or predicted the attack by the British in 1917, back in 150 B.C.

This is similar to the alleged "prophecy fixing" concerning Cyrus by Jews. In this case however, it is impossible to demonstrate this 2000 year old prophecy was 'rigged', by anyone.

The Book of Daniel is the word of God.

What a worthless post.

Why don't you explain your theory concerning Daniel's prophecies and their fulfillment, since that is what this thread is all about. And back it up with some verifiable historical facts, like I have.

Daniel is not fulfilled, it was cut off after the 69th week. Are you not paying attention?

Prophecy regarding a kingdom is conditional. It doesn't have to come to pass.

I can't seem to follow anyone's math on this topic. The current Islamic year is 1431 (from 18 December 2009 to 6 December 2010). You say that in 1917 the Islamic year was 1335. 1917 was 93 years ago. 1431 minus 93 equals 1338, but the Islamic year you are calling for is 1335. None of this adds up quite right.

All it takes is half a brain and a good understanding of the English language to read the bible.. its all there in black and white.

Daniel has been fullfilled and so has Revelations... which is pretty much the historical view Christians held for centuries.

Futurists like you arose in the 1700-1800's and the eschatology was invented by pretty unscrupulous men like Darby and Schofield (an adulteror and convicted thief who spent time in prison).

It boggles my mind how people love to turn the bible into some sort of National Inquirer to satisfy their desire for sensationalism. The only early church father that might possibly support Iraneous... but we know he was wrong on many things... and I wouldn't build my entire understanding of prophesy on what he had to say.. after all the scriptures warn us about the likes of him.
