The harm done is debatable, although obvious. Most queers are such due to others who brought them into the 'fold' or whom they saw, via TV, internet, magazines, etc.. The fact is, it takes two, and most acts are performed by at least one who has experience. The victim-less crime defense just doesn't fly.

Surely those who exercise their free speech in a wildy illogical and violent manner are deserving of some sort of reaction. Should they be socially shunned, publically ridiculed, or made a spectacle of in some fashion?

Surely, atheists and moderate Christians can lock arms and stand against the poison such beliefs can generate.

I think they should each be locked in a cage in the trunk of a car and driven around Buffalo while soaking in a marinade of salt, oil, red peppers and chili peppers.

We are talking about real harm here, not imaginary harm.

Oh wow. I remember the Donahue show. It didn't turn me gay but it did cause an ingrained aversion to chat shows...

Well this is fun isn't it?

To my mind it is wholly irresponsible to go into the world incapable of preventing violence, injury, crime, and death. How feeble is the mindset to accept defenselessness. How unnatural. How cheap. How cowardly. How pathetic.

Being that no crime is being committed, it certainly is not obvious. However, should you disagree with me, feel free to go to your local police department to turn some one in for the *crime of being gay*. Let me know how that goes, k?

So you don't believe in personal responsibility, eh? When I truly believe that someone or something is an amoral piece of garbage, I do NOT watch them on TV, visit them, read their literature, etc.

You do have a choice of ignoring those you dislike, Aimiel ..

So restrict association and education of gay, and it's no more? And, the the gay version of the Blue Lagoon is impossible.

Were you homeschooled by chance?

I can't comment on your experience with talking to homosexuals regarding this - but it is to me, at least fairly obvious as to why there exists contempt and condemnation for those who support execution or punishment for acting on a sexual preference.

If it was anything else, or reversed in anyway relating to a personal choice - then another group of people would be rightfully peeved.

It is simply a matter of rejecting totalitarianism that leads one to conclude that rejecting the death penalty (or any sort of retribution) for homosexuality is immoral.

Aren't you a Libertarian? I mean, I see you are part of the tea party movement which presents itself as a pseudo-libertarian, anti-taxation movement.

Or do you betray yourself?

None. It is a free nation and just as you are allowed to spout all sorts of silliness about "gay reproduction" being more moral than God's plan, so to are others allowed to voice their support for a death penalty for Gays.
