"If you say the Rosary faithfully until death, I do assure you that, in spite of the gravity of your sins 'you shall receive a never fading crown of glory.' [2] Even if you are on the brink of damnation, even if you have one foot in Hell, even if you have sold your soul to the devil as sorcerers do who practise black magic, and even if you are a heretic as obstinate as a devil, sooner or later you will be converted and will amend your life and save your soul, if----and mark well what I say----if you say the Holy Rosary devoutly every day until death for the purpose of knowing the truth and obtaining contrition and pardon for your sins" (St. Louis Marie de Montfort, Secret of the Rosary, Red Rose).

To my mind it is wholly irresponsible to go into the world incapable of preventing violence, injury, crime, and death. How feeble is the mindset to accept defenselessness. How unnatural. How cheap. How cowardly. How pathetic.

Hmmmm....
I'd love to have a few too many brews with the resident, um, "interesting people" and see what kind of rants they'd go on. I just have to wonder what the LetsArgue, TheWord, Omega etc. would be like in real life...
I'd love to guide a geology camping field trip for anyone who wanted to come. Location could be just about anywhere, though I'd like to spend some time in Alaska one of these days. However, the presence of Stripe, Pierac and John Ladder would be mandatory. I'd force Stripe and Pierac to get their hands dirty and deduce some interpretations from the rocks (as apposed to other peoples' papers). John Ladder would get to carry samples :
Sitting down and just having a drink with the prominent members of both ends of the spectrum would be fun as well, and probably educational and/or hilarious. I'd be willing to bet most people would find some common ground pretty quickly, and all the chest puffing that is afforded by the relative anonymity of the web would dissipate after a beer or two. In particular, I think I'd get along well with the NOLA crew above, and would love to plunk around that city some day.
It'd be pretty fun to workout with NM, though I am not sure I could handle the smack to my ego...
And I think it was TheGraphite, Zoo22 and TH who seem to have similar music tastes, so an afternoon in front of my new home setup might be fun.

That would be neat. One day I will get across the pond and I can take you out for a meal (just not fish and chips).

I have thought about this in the past and there are many other TOLers I would like to meet.
I would like to visit DBC for the experience and to meet Knight.
I would also like to meet someday -
Jackson: who has encouraged me in the past - I'd like to discuss life and testimonies over Pizza.
nicholsmom: who has always been one of my favorite posters and who let me share with her - Wish you could teach me about raising livestock.
Seydlitz77 & Godrulz (my fellow Edmontonians)
Rusha : it would be neat to go to a pro-life event with you
mmstroud: either going to a Michael Horton conference or a "Supernatural" geek fest.
Lighthouse: I would love to discuss comics over a Chinese buffet with you (P.S. Batman is still a criminal)
Town Heretic: Reading your posts alone is a great pleasure it would be an even greater one to see you use your debating skills in person.
Granite & Gerald: I would love to sit down and talk with these guys about life over a few drinks (non-alcoholic in my case). We probably wouldn't agree on much but we could have fun doing it.
I could go on and list several more but I have to get moving soon.
Any TOLer who ever gets up here can drop me a line. If I can I will be glad to show them some of the sites.
"Make no mistake: if he rose at all it was as His body; if the cells' dissolution did not reverse, the molecules reknit, the amino acids rekindle, the Church will fail. Let us not mock God with metaphor, analogy, sidestepping transcendence; making of the event a parable, a sign painted in the faded credulity of earlier ages; let us walk through the door."

Maybe a wedding would be fun. My imagination throws around some pretty funny pictures when I get to thinking about some of the members out on the dance floor with a few drinks in them
"If a sheerly linguistic version of the gospel could be concocted, it would merely so be no longer the gospel. In the Lutheran Reformation’s understanding, which we believe in this matter to be correct, the sacraments make the inalienable externality of the gospel message and therefore are necessary to the authenticity of that message." (Christian Dogmatics [1984], II:302-303 as cited in Pontifications)
