How many Gospels are there ? -

Hi , and I believe that there is more than 1 gospel and I am always amazed that they will never see that position .
The teaching of Covenant theology and then Acts 2 , believers , leave much to be desired as we shall see
If , most believers would just look at the word GOSPEL in Strong's they will be shocked at how many Gospels there are and the verses .
I have been able to find 6 , and 3 are related to man and 3 are related to angels .
#1 , The Gospel of the Kingdom , wich is God's message to Israel , God's earthly people and was preached by Christ and the 12 Apostles , Luke 4:43 ; 8;1 ; Matt 4:23 . Also what is called CIRCUMCISION preaching in Gal 2:7 .
#2 , The Gospel of the Grace of God , and is God's message to all during this Dispensation of Grace . This Gospel was given EXCLUSIVELY to Paul by the risen Christ in Gal 1:11 and 12 and Paul's assoicates that helped and is the Gospel that we are to preach today . Acts 20:24 and Eph 3:1-9 . Also called the Gospel of the UNCIRCUMCISION in Gal 2:7 .
#3 , The Abram Gospel , that is found in Gal 3:8 , that God preached to Abram in Gen 12 and is the message in the OT , that is called a Gospel .
#4 , The birth of John the Baptist in Luke 1:19 uses a Greek word EUAGGELIZO , which means to preach the Gospel .
#5 , The birth of the Lord Jesus Christ in Luke 2:10 , uses the Greek word EUAGGELIZO , which means to preach the Gospel .
#6 , Then there is The Everlasti9ng Gospel in Rev 14:6 and 7 , and is preached by and Angel near the end of the Great Tribulation and by verse 7 is a Gospel of Judgment and is the same Greek word EUAGGELIZO , which means to preach the gospel .
So , much for the ONE Gospel theory , but you know that there are a NUMBER OF ONES in the bible and when counted there are 7 .
In Eph 4:4-6 , mentions the 7 ;
#1 , one body
#2 , one Spirit
#3 , one hope
#4 , one Lord
#5 , one faith
#6 , ONE BAPTISM
#7 , and one God
And the number 7 speaks of COMPLETENESS in the bible , dan p

Hi , and one gospel people are always wrong and they never know what Uncircumcison or Circumcision really mean and that is ALL ONE Gospel believers , dan p

Sorry.. but there has only ever been one. That Jesus (the messiah) would eventually defeat sin and death. All the Old Testament points to that event and all the New Testament points back to that event... it is the only thing that can redeem us. So any other 'gospel' is useless.. and just as the disciples warned us to not listen to any other gospel then what they were taught, we should do the same.

Where were the disciples warned not to listen to any other gospel , and if you quote Gal 1 , you are still Unlearned and Unstable and Twist to your own destruction as 2 Peter 3:16 reveals , dan p

Everyone is ultimately saved by the shed blood of Christ, but what people believed (gospel) to be reckoned as faithful and righteous has not always been the same.
It really is that simple. People get so upset by the word "gospel".
1. Land forever. Gen 17:8 (KJV)
2. City FROM heaven. Rev 21:2 (KJV)
3. Heavenly places. Eph 2:6-7(KJV)

I disagree... just read the faith chapter in Romans. It has always been faith in God and the coming Messiah and his work on the cross that has always been the core of the Gospel.. it was just presented at different times and different ways in accordance with peoples ability to understand was was coming and then what happend and then what passed.
