#7 , The subject of adoption involved both Israel and the Body of Christ .
#8 , In the Jewish family , the Roman law of adoption was a serious matter .

I am kind of changing th subject on you, Dan. I don't agree with what I think you are saying.
2 Corinthians 11
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
Besides all not written in the book of life, which are cast in the lake of fire.

Hi , and in Rev 14:6 and 7 , we have the " everlasting gospel " and in verse 7 , it is a gospel of God Judgment , and no more chance of being saved , is no more .
So , what part of Rev 20:12 , and says according to their WORKS , and not the sin question ?
I believe that 1 Cor 11:13-15 , is revealing those false teachers of today , and they are not saved , dan p

Slogan/motto:
Being led into relationships by urgings of love which arise and are sustained naturally and spontaneously within my heart, is always 'God-righteous' even if I have to transgress the Ten Commandments.

From the KJV N.T. Here is Galatians: 4 verses: 5 & 6:
5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
Isn't this saying that God sent the Spirit of Jesus into the hearts of those under the law so that they might be redeemed and become adopted children of God? Isn't this verse saying that those under the law need redemption?
Isn't Romans: 8 verses: 26 & 27 saying that: it is by searching our hearts so as to discern precisely what this Spirit has in mind for each of us to pray for, say and do then being led into all our works by, precisely what this Spirit has in mind for us to pray for, say and do, that we become "children of God" (who are the saved and delivered)?
Therefore are these revelations not saying that:
If those under the law do not drop the law and pick up this offer of the Spirit of Jesus which God sent into their hearts, then they are not not saved and delivered?

Hi , and sorry that I am just replying .
I believe that with Paul the message has changed from Law to Grace .
And in verse 5 , those under the Law , have had their sins forgiven by Jesus death on the cross and Heb 9:15 confirms that the OT sins have been paid for .
Were there still those that were keeping the Law ? I believe there were !
Hebrews was to solve the problem of those Jews left behind , I believe , dan p
