I AM OF PAUL, APOLLOS, CEPHAS OR JESUS ??? - July 29th, 2011, 03:30 PM

Hi to all and we all know that we are all divided between what these 4 people believe , I am of Paul because Christ says to follw Paul , 1 Cor 11:1 !!

Others says that they love there Red Letter Edition of Jesus spoken words !

Others say that they follow Peter and have INHANCED it by there Tradition , through the years ,

Others in Acts were following Apollos !

Jesus as Jehovah gave the Law to Moses and when Jesus was on earth, He kept His own Law .

Then there is PAUL , who I follow because Christ says to follow Paul in the Revelation given to Paul .

So , 3 are Law keepers and all 3 are preaching REPENTANCE and BAPTISM .

But Paul is THE ONLY teaching and preaching Grace , in Eph 3:1-9 !!

But , Apollos in Acts 18:25 , we see that Apollos was " HAVING BEEN INSTRUCTED IN " is in the Greek Perfect Tense , which means Past Action with Continuing Results .

#2 , The Past Action is the Apollos is a FORMER Repentance and Water Baptizer !!

#3 , He will now be a Dispensational Grace teacher , yes he is !!! The Continuing results !!!

#4 , In verse 26 , when Aquila and Priscilla heard Apollos preach in the synagogue , they EXPOUNDED the WAY of God more EXACTLY or Accurately !!!

From what I see , Apollos is Pauls helper as 1 Cor 3:5 , " bot ministers by whom ye believed " .

Paul plants

Apollos waters

And God does the saving , verse 7 !!

We just preach the good news of God's Reconciliation as we have been commissioned to preach in 2 Cor 5:18 .

We know that many Pastors teach what they want and we here are the TRUTH PATROL trying to get all to " study to be approve and not to be ASHAMED , rightly dividing the word of truth ,

This also means that there are more than ONE Gospel !!! dan p

If this is intended to describe Catholics, it should be noted that [1] it was Jesus himself who appointed the apostles and their successors as leaders over his Church, [2] endowed them with his own power and authority (Mt. 28:16-20), and [3] identified their teaching with his own (Lk. 10:16; 1 John 4:6; cf. 1 Tim. 3:15).

Therefore, to follow the apostolic teachings of Christ's historic Church is the same as following Jesus Christ himself. Your statement is therefore merely a False Dilemma Fallacy.

The reason Paul is thankful he did not baptize more people than the few he did baptize at Corinth, is so fewer people could use that as a reason to be “of Paul”.

1 Cor 1: 13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized in the name of Paul? 14 I thank God that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius, 15 so no one can say that you were baptized in my name.

Did Paul want us to follow the undivided “Christ”?

Was Paul crucified for you so you should follow Him?

Who’s name were the people baptized into?

Jesus saves completely. A9D-EL

Titus 1:10-11

For there are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, whose mouths must be stopped

Could you show me where Christ says this, because I can't find it in any of the translations of the Bible.

Hi , and in Rom 16:25 , Now to the One being able to make you firm According to my Gospel , AND THE preaching of Jesus Christ according to Revelation of MYSTERY , HAVING BEEN KEPT SILENT in times pertaining to the Ages !!

" PREACHING " in the Greek is KERUGMA , is talking about the CONTENT , ot the Substance of the preaching !!

And by the way , HAVING KEPT SILENT in in the Greek Perfect Tense and it means PAST ACTION ( Eph 1:4 and 2 Tim 1:9 which is BEFORE the foundation of the world )

And the CONTINUING RESULTS of the Perfect tense , means that they are CONTINUING at this Present time !!

This should put to rest all the confusion that there is ONLY one Gospel , for Paul says that the DISPENSATION of the Grace of God began before the creation , how WOW is that you Covenant people , dan p
