One of the strongest proofs that Christians are right and really do have the WORD OF GOD is Bible prophecy....

2 Pet 1:19 We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. 21 For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

Well since you can't tell us the future let me share with you what is coming.....

1 Thess. 4:13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Rev 1:3 Blessed [is] he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time [is] at hand.

THROUGH the Book of Revelation we can see the future of this world. While many people live with a dream of humanity creating a peaceful utopia this is not what will happen. By the Word of God we know that this world system is gonna come to an end and the reign of Jesus is going to be established physically. Therefore Christians are commanded to not store up treasures on earth but to keep their eyes focused on a New Heaven and a New Earth wherein dwells righteousness. After the wars of humanity for the resources of this earth are over we are told by Jesus- 'the meek will inherit the earth'. In Revelation 21 and 22 we see clearly that New Jerusalem comes DOWN from heaven onto this earth and we shall forever be with the LORD. The path of humanity is a giant circle and the redeemed end up 'back in Eden' with the river of God and the tree of life.

We also know from Scripture there are MANY false prophets gone out into the world. This is why one should work out his own salvation with fear and trembling. Become familiar with the Bible and study vigorously the prophets and Revelation so you will not be struck with the fear of suprise when these things take place. For your own survival and the security of your friends and families take time to know what is happening in the world and what prophecy teaches will happen. Since we are living in the days of great deception be not afraid to think critically about what you believe and what others teach you to believe. Do not blindly follow charismatic men and women who claim to show you the way of truth. I don't care if it is the Pope himself, verify what is said with the only reliable rule - the Scriptures.

Overcome your sins for rebellion in the heart produces darkness in the mind. Many times we refuse to know things because they make us uncomfortable. There exists such a thing as self-induced delusion. Love the truth or you will end up loving the lie and fail to comprehend what is to come. This is eternal life we are talking about and I would not trust my salvation to anyone but Jesus. Men and women in pastoral positions are always liable to corruption and leading their flocks astray for short term gain. We need warriors who are familiar with the sword of God and not wimps who just follow every whim of doctrine. Become solid in the truth and bury your roots deep in faith so when the storm hits your neibhorhood you will not faint in the day of evil and get blown over like a weak tree.

Pro 1:22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?


Pro 1:23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
