The gospel is not that we receive that promise, but the basis upon which we are saved. We are not saved by believing promises. We are saved by God, and/or we believe His promise.

There was a promise that all the nations of the world would be blessed in Abraham's seed. Is that the promise you refer to?

Does that indwelling save them? Yes or no.

A person is saved WHEN they are (become) indwelt by the Holy Spirit. God saves a person, and gives them His Holy Spirit.

No, my position does not. You have to explain how an unbeliever is a child of God and yet a child cannot be an unbeliever. We have all been created by God, and are therefore His children. But to be a child of God in terms of ownership, means that you have been purchased from your wretched state for God, and given new life by Him.
