Yes and no. I have always been gentle with animals, and they have usually returned the sentiment. My grandfather used to capture and break wild mustangs (in Wyoming, Utah, and Montana), and I used to watch him as a child. I was too young to be allowed to participate, but I remember the way he was with the horses. He always told me that the secret was sincerity. He said that horses can ALWAYS tell when a man has a good heart and respects them sincerely. He is often a braggard, and I do not know if there is any substance to what he said, but I know what I saw and I know how well he and the horses worked together. Horses are highly intelligent, and they will throw a person if they don't like you.

Horse gaits are fascinating!

That question (as well as others) may better be directed here though...

I think the lesson here is, "sometimes, actions dont have an important purpose, and that's okay."

See how much this thread has taught us?

Not happening. Take a win when you get it PureX. Or, talk about what you really want.

I wouldn't even if I could. I hold the sanctity of threads too high. As well, this thread has a clear "Full Code" status.

I rode my motorcycle from Central California to the Canadian boarder this summer. Solo.

The only reason I didn't go all the way is because they don't let you take guns across the boarder.
