Making Good Choices -

Here is some optimism, and we can share it with each other, that it is possible to make good choices.
If it is possible to make good choices, it is also possible to make bad choices.
So let's make good choices and leave bad choices in the past.
What if our lives have been filled with bad choices? What then?
Are we doomed to repeat the same mistakes? How can we learn what is good?
And we should walk in what is good...
Deuteronomy 10:12 (KJV) And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,
Deuteronomy 10:13 (KJV) To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

Yes. Meaning, what you just said here seems to make sense to me.

Good choices mean a brighter horizon. Meaning, neither that good things come to those who wait, nor that it's in the getting, but that a simple life where we strive for what is good in our actions means a good future for those we serve and maybe even for ourselves. I say this knowing that life sometimes throws us a curve(ball), and that God's will in the elusive sense isn't always discernable. But we need to find the things that are good and cling to them.
Romans 12:9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good.
