Exclusively Christian TheologyThis forum is exclusively for those who consider themselves Christian and consider the Bible to be the inspired word of God.
You have never been baptized with the Holy Spirit by Jesus have you.
LA:
A Christian is not a better person because they got baptized.
Baptism is an outward showing of your faith. It is not a salvation issue, either. We are saved in Christ and not baptism. Yes, it is good that a person should get baptized. However, I think God is more concerned with:
Loving and walking with God in truth.
Loving others.
Helping the poor
All of which I do.
Yes, a Christian needs to strive to do all things God has appointed for us to do. We are human and we are not perfect. We constantly need the Lord's grace and His mercy ever day to be more perfect as God is perfect. But if a person just gets baptized and then goes back to their old way of living or if they treat other people in a hateful or hurtful way then their baptism did not really mean anything.
Slogan/motto:
Mat 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Personally, I am not going to boast, but how often do you give to the poor?
See, I can play that game, too. However, you are resorting to attacking me personally because I have shown you the truth of God's Word, my friend. I attack the doctrine, the belief, the religion. I do not attack people. I strive to love and pray for everyone that God tells me to pray for. Including the people that don't like me. Can you say the same? However, I care for you deeply and I pray that God will be able to help you to see one day.

Exactly. They can't bear to look in the face of Jesus Christ their God and Saviour. They can only read verses that speak of Jesus the man. In fact, they refuse to address ANY verse that shows His deity. It's like holding up a cross to a vampire. Same reaction.
None deny the Diety of Christ according to the Bible but you have these other private interpretations of the Bible to protect.
Christ was given diety from His Father.---
Joh 5:26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
Joh 5:27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
When Peter was explaining who Jesus was , He never said He was God Almighty the creator, he said--
Act 2:29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
Act 2:30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; Act 2:31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell(grave, dead), neither his flesh did see corruption.
Act 2:32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
No, you would agree with the authenticity that is already there. You finally got it. Since you believe that God is Spirit which is true and you believe Christ is Spirit then Christ is God. Now what was so hard about that.
Nothing, except they are two and one is created by the other.
Just because your wrongdoes not make yoiu a bad person BR.
God still loves ya.

Why can you not admit that you have never been baptised by Jesus with the Holy spirit?
Why do you say that you are trying to help other people by your posts but when I try to help you then you say I am resorting to attacking you personally.

Neither have you, if you are saved, and neither is any member of the boc , in this dispensation, baptized by the Lord Jesus Christ. Members of the boc are baptized by the Spirit-He is the baptizer.
For the umteenth time because He made himself nothing and took upon Himself the form of a servant, Philippians 2:5-11.
No he did not. He sent his son and gave him the spirit image of himself. The Christ.
God was IN Jesus,Jesus was not God. The spirit IN him is a form of God.

The Word proves me right. You're theory is just that, a theory.
Someday you will slap the top of your head and say, "So that is what he was saying, dog gone it, he was right."
Peace Brother
