God is the creator, He is not one of the sheep in the flock.
Half truth! A half truth is a FULL lie! Jesus is not only the Lamb but also the Priest who offered the Lamb. Jesus is a Priest AFTER THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK who was a manifestation of God Himself because His life was indestructible, Hebrews 7:15-17.
Quote:
God, could and did have a human son, conceived divinely in Mary.
Totally false! God could not and did not "divinely conceive" a human son. King David was also God's Firstborn Son, Psalm 89:20-27. Was David divinely conceived? Jesus was the Son of God because He was the Son of David for the Kingly line was God's Son. The Spirit prepared the virgin's womb to receive Him but Jesus Himself entered into her and impregnated her. But this is NOT what made Him God's Son. Jesus was God's Son because He was David's son, Romans 1:1-4
Quote:
That son, did His Father's will, not his own and redeemed us.
Half truth! A half truth is a FULL lie! Jesus said that He could have asked for twelve legions of angels to deliver Him and the Father would have granted it. He said also that it was in His own power to lay down His life and to take it again, John 10:17-18

God did not die.
The spirit of Jesus did not die. Paul said that He was put to death in the flesh but vindicated in the spirit. Therefore, His spirit did NOT die because that which is vindicated cannot be put to death. His spirit went down to sheol and preached to the old testament saints that their sins had been paid for. Jesus said that He would be in the core of the earth (sheol) as Jonah was in the belly of the fish. Jonah was in the belly of the fish ALIVE!

You don't know one iota of the law. If Jesus was not God, then how could the covenant have been put into effect for the law required that the testator DIE in order for it to be put into effect, Hebrews 9:16. God is the testator and the testator must DIE!
Study it well, and you will see for yourself the deity interchangability between the Son and the Father.
I have proved that there is no trinity Apple. Jesus has a God. End of trinity.....
He is however Lord. So now I have to finds words to convince you that Jesus is a created being, both in the flesh and in the spirit.
I call your attention to 2 Corinthians 4:4, note the words
"Christ, who is the image of God, "
Yep, it says it right there, Christ is the image (creation) of God.

Joh 4:23 "But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.
I guess it bothers me much more than it does to you. It just sound so demeaning to me. I have seen some scene in movies and TV show that this word is being used by some hateful people to elders.
It is so unchristian thing to do, IMHO.

If God cloned himself, would that clone be God also?
He certainly would be godlike, but would he share in the full deity of God?
He so, would he still have a God?
Lon, my mind is just full of questions. After reading Rev 1 I think verses 8 and 11 are spoken by the father, but I really want to study it further.

Amen, Keypurr! Whatever we come up with must agree across board.
'My' triune position is one that is simply trying avoid 1) jumping the gun and 2) allowing some mysteries to remain mysteries (meaning they genuinely don't have all the parts for a conclusive answer).
My main problem with other positions is that they, at least to me, go beyond revelation.
Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, forever. Amen. -Ephesians 3:20 & 21

I'm just the opposite Lon, I want to know whatever God will allow me to. I look for things to look for. I ask a lot of questions and then try to find answers. Like this one.
If God made an image of himself, and he did, would that image be a created God?
Is that is what 2 Corinthians 2:4.4 is saying?
If that were true then all this bickering about the trinity is useless. The fly in the ointment is the fact that Jesus has a God and there is only one God. He is my Lord, can he also be my God also without breaking the commandments?
Thats a tough question to answer.

So...is this 'one God', God the Father....or...God the Spirit?

The answer must be 'yes' to some large degree. Dolly the sheep #2 is all from Dolly #1 and there is no part of her that isn't Dolly #1 always existing because the dna was already there.
I do not mind whatever degree of 'no' there is as long as it is accurate and doesn't take away from all the ways the answer is 'yes'

Why? I'm trying to remember recently where you already said the Father ordain His Son's worship and adoration. Even the 24 elders in Revelation bowed to both the Father and Son. How are you seeing that as a commandment breaker (Remember I'm seeing them as One)?

If you can't even tell us what you even think the Trinity is, how then can you prove that it does not exist?
So is God.
Why not try scripture?
Show us the Greek, pops....
I don't know Greek, but I have a few Swedish words for ya.
Apple it has never been a contest to see who is right. Pops is just more gifted than you. If you get to be my age, you may have what I do, and more. But you have to pray for understanding friend, to the Father in Jesus's name.

This does not make sense?
You say Jesus is God and ''The spirit of Jesus did not die"
But you say, in the very next paragraph:

How do you expect people to understand this:
Who died?
In your understanding: You don't see the spirit of Jesus died, BUT you see that GOD died?
You have got this the wrong way around.
It was Jesus who died, and it was God that raised Jesus back to life again:
Body, Soul & Spirit
I think in your understanding you do not see Jesus as ''a living soul''
Jesus was a living soul, who was made a quickening spirit.
1Co 15:45 KJV
(45) And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
1Co 15:46 KJV
(46) Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
Jesus' body and soul was left in the heart of the earth/grave, for 3 days and 3 nights, then Jesus was raised back from the dead, then Jesus went to preach to the spirits in prison:
When someone comes in the ''flesh'' that means they are a ''Living Soul''
You dealt with ''The Spirit'' in your post: But what about the ''soul''
Did Jesus NOT have a soul?
Mat 26:38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.
''Soul and Spirit''
Gen 2:7 KJV
(7) And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Do you know the difference between ''Soul and Spirit''
2Co 5:17 Whoever is a believer in Christ is a new creation. The old way of living has disappeared. A new way of living has come into existence.

Who is the God of this verse? It cannot be the Father. It has to be a separate person. Oh, yeah, it is Jesus Christ, because it is His revelation that is being written in the Book of Revelation.
Rev 1:7 -- Behold He comes (who is coming? oh, yeah, the God of Rev. 1:6, whose revelation it is being written about -- Jesus Christ); and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen.
Rev. 1:8 -- I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Who is talking? It has to be the one that said 'which is to come,' which has to be the same one that is the God in Rev. 1:6 and He comes, and the one speaking is saying of Himself, 'the Almighty.' How do I know that, because it is the Revelation of Jesus Christ not John's and John is writing what he is being told by the one giving the Revelation.
We have already explained this verse to you over and over and over, pops….but you ignore the explanations just like you have with the plethora of other verses which you demand that we explain to you.
You need to stop tapping into your excuse bag long enough to actually study the Greek like you pledged to do long ago, but obviously lied about…
After reading Rev 1 I think verses 8 and 11 are spoken by the father, but I really want to study it further.

keypurr,
Verse 7 say that "He" (Jesus) is coming and that every eye shall see Him. Then verse 8 says, "I am the Alpha and the Omega...who is to come." How can you say that this is spoken by the Father? Is the Father "to come"?
Then in verse 17 He says, "I am the First and the Last. I am He who lives, and was dead." Was the Father "dead"?
The Alpha and the Omega is "to come" and the First and the Last "was dead."
Come on! It's clear friend. You don't need to study it any further.
