Ah, the life of a moral relativist.
I already put him on ignore, he is the type that if he opened up his mouth in real life I would have a hard time not shooting him. I would ahve to politely leave the social engagement and anyone that chose to associate with him I would no longer associate with otherwise I would end up shooting him so that I would not have to hear his whinny liberal drivil.
Because Martin is dead. No one is going to argue that Martin was a saint, but that does not give anyone the excuse to pull the trigger.
So its ok for martin to physically assult someone who was not breaking any laws. No matter how much you want "stalking" to be a crime, its simply not. Turning around and punching someones head into the side walk ... pretty sure thats a crime and zimmerman had every right to defend himself with leathal force if he beleived his life was in danger
The whole 911 tape and all of that crap is irrelavant and hopefully will be inadmissable in court because zimmerman stalking martin was not against the law. It does not matter if it was stupid or not it was not illegal.
That is like saying a woman who wears reavealing clothes into a rough bar is just asking to get raped, that may be true but its not illegal for her to wear it but it will be illegal for the guy who rapes her. This whole trial is a joke and shows we have too many weak weinnies living in the USA because we have no natural enemys to weed them out. Trust me that wont go on forever.

If your aim's as good as your spelling then I'd have nowt to worry about anyway.

Sorry but if someone told me that the police were on the way and to stay put, I would stay put. He put himself a bad situation because he failed to listen to authorities. Were Martin's actions excusable? Of course not, but if Zimmerman would have simply listened to the instructions he was given he would be alive, Martin might be in jail, and none of this crap would be relevant. But Zimmerman didn't. HE disobeyed instructions. HE stalked Martin. HE put himself in a dangerous situation when he didn't need to. HE pulled the trigger. HE should be held accountable for those actions. Period.

It is actually VERY relevant because it is a primary source that can assist in piecing together what exactly happened.

Coming from you, blaming the victim (again) of a crime is not a surprise.

Trial is a joke, is it? Weaklings, are we? So, what do you propose we do? Everyone pick up a switchblade and settle it "West Side Story" style?

You and I both know the answer to that.
I know that you are taking the possibility that I raised and attaching the rest of Zimmermans story to it.
Besides...according to Zimmermans narative he didn't shoot Martin because he was slamming his head on the concrete. He shot him when Martin tried to get his gun and told him that he was going to kill Zimmerman (or words to that effect) .

I would like to review again why George Zimmerman was carrying a firearm. Per this New York Post article (it's ok Arthur, it's not a "right wing biased source"):
I have already shown this in an earlier post, but it needs to be seen again:
"A pit bull named Big Boi began menacing George Zimmerman and his wife, Shellie, in the fall of 2009.
The first time the dog ran free and cornered Shellie in their gated community in Sanford, George called the owner to complain.
The second time, Big Boi frightened his mother-in-law’s dog. Zimmerman called Seminole County Animal Services and bought pepper spray. The third time he saw the dog on the loose, he called authorities again. An officer came to the house, county records show.
“Don’t use pepper spray,” he told the Zimmermans, according to a friend. “It’ll take two or three seconds to take effect, but a quarter-second for the dog to jump you.
“Get a gun.”
That November, the Zimmermans completed firearms training at a local lodge and received concealed-weapons gun permits.
They bought a pair of guns in early December, a source close to them said. George chose a lightweight Kel-Tec PF-9 9mm handgun.
See, to me, this sort of thing is totally extraneous. I don't really care what his supposed reason was for getting a carry permit or a pistol "x" number of years ago. He had the right to do so in the State of Florida just like I do. Unless Zimmerman had recently gone out and obtained both for the expressed purpose of following young black men to provoke altercations (which I kind of doubt) I fail to see why it's relevent to a murder charge
Quote:
By June 2011, Zimmerman’s attention had shifted from the loose pit bull to a wave of robberies that rattled the community, called the Retreat at Twin Lakes.
The homeowners association asked him to launch a neighborhood watch, and Zimmerman began to carry the Kel-Tec on his regular, dog-walking patrol —a violation of neighborhood-watch guidelines but not a crime..." http://www.nypost.com/p/news/nationa...1K2T3VbQZYo9JK
...As an aside; I find the notion that I am permitted to carry a weapon nearly everywhere except when I serve on neighborhood watch to be patently absurd.
As if a person gives up their right to self defense when they do so.
One of the reasons why I wouldn't have anything to do with such an organization.
Quote:
I see that the prosecution has subpoenaed the firearms training center where the Zimmerman's took their firearm safety classes.
It'll be interesting to see what is said.
I'd be really surprised if they turned up anything there.

I dont like knives so you would loose when I shot you. I like guns and explosives, they send a message that im not messing around and that things are about to get real, its not going to be you discreatly stabbing me in the kidney and then carrying on but im going to make sure its a full on crap hitting the fan where you are the looser and everyones fun is going to end in a st valentines day massacre style. Something is going to break loose in this nation because it is clear that there are segments of the population that can not live harmoniously with others, we will get a situation like iraq. Liberals are going to wake a sleeping giant because they just cant live their lives and leave others alone.
Also you did not explain how stalking was illegal.

Careful though or he'll be wanting to shoot you next. What a flaming sociopath this nut is. if it's not hanging kids it's insinuating that terror attacks do a 'good service' for taking out men and women of a different political persuasion to his. One total moron and no mistake....

Swing and miss, that serves me right for trying to make a cultural reference...
My argument isn't against stalking since the bigger issue is the fact he killed someone.

Since stalking is not illegal that means that martin was the instigator and zimmerman wsa justified, now if there are facts that surface that martin did not lay a hand on zimmeramn and zimmerman just shot him that changes teh whole thing but so far thats not the story.

Actually it depends on what State you are in. Aggravated Menacing is a crime in some states (misdemeanor). Florida does not have a Menacing Staute for people (I think there is one for dogs. ) but Zimmermans actions could be construed in Florida as simple Assault (Although I think Zimmerman would be aquitted on the basis of the Prosecutions failure to prove intent...in a fair trial that is).
