So, your saying that, the verses in the Bible that speak of a "form of trinity" were added into the Bible by a bunch of Greek guys and those verses are not inspired by God???
A trinity philosophy of sorts lie in Greek, Indian, and Egyptian literature and mythology. Other cultures have indeed been obsessed with both trinities and inter-changeable beings.
But do you know what really damns the idea beyond reconciliation? The Trinity initially came from Jews which both John and Paul opposed. It's in Kabbalism, where angels are worshiped. With this specifically, the Sephiroth Trinity.
The only reason Catholics carry on the trinity is because they can't retract their notion that it was given by the Spirit.
You do know how the Church works, right? These are things that reformists should not have carried on with them, because it is clear that the Spirit had little influence on the Church. No sooner had the Creeds been made did the world fall into the Dark Ages with the Church taking full advantage of it, prolonging it and being nothing more then an institution of despicable evil.
What church claims to be moved by the Spirit of God and all the while executes and tortures people for not believing their doctrines head to toe? It is an outrage.
The Trinity and the Church go hand in hand as far as I'm concerned. I think reformers kept it simply so that all the average Joe's in the world would be more comfortable. After all, the trinity had been engraved in culture.
Why would you simply 'link' an objection instead of removing them from your list? The heading still says 'Calvinist.' Why is it so important to you to leave folks on a list that they are clearly not a part of?

this thread is already out of control
and
as important as a Trinity discussion is, I would like to see it in another thread
I am not Calvinist but I believe [not in determism] but predestination for the saints I am most happy and confident for God to determine my destiny.
Why do I believe? "those who He foreknew He also predestined"
If some Pope or holy man has anulled this scripture and you believe him then you have become a follower of this new teacher and ceased to be a follower of Paul as he was a follower of Christ.

I should put you on the list anyway since you seem to use their dictionary
and
I bet you know the secret handshake

Yes I love Calvinists but they grieve my spirit....if I did not love them they would not cause me sorrow. I abhor double predestination.
...I love Catholics too as a former Catholic, I understand Catholics more than I understand Calvinists, for Calvinists say that their rule of faith is scripture yet if you present scripture to them in a matter not covered in their articles of faith they reject it, this is a great pity and a cause of sorrow. Usually they do not reject it outright but duck and weave like a prize fighter.

People make these threads against calvinism, not realizing, that they are opposing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in particular, the Truth's of Tulip, Jesus Preached every last one of them ! Its not going to fare well with them in the Day of Judgment and Wrath !
Rom 2:28-29
28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

so how many words must be redefined in order to explain this belief system?
*
It is simple, if God predestined the saints to be conformed to the image of His dear Son.....then 1+1=20 He MUST have predestined all other to be damned.
