I almost fell over seeing a Christian admit that the cosmological arguments have been answered. It's rare to see that kind of honesty around here. (Note that I'm not saying honesty is the problem in all, or even most cases.)
Have you read A Universe from Nothing: Why There Is Something Rather than Nothing by Lawrence Krauss?

See because GOD is OMNIPRESENT,He spoke light "in"to existence from out of EVERY WHERE BEING...INTO BEING EVERYWHERE IN ONE INSTANT! So the universe was,and is forever big all in one instant. For light couldn't have expanded from "one" spot into the vastness we now are learning the universe to be,in the amount of time from how long ago the big bang theory supposedly happened.

Funny. You said pretty much exactly what I said. Should I accuse you of distorting the definition of evolution?
I agree we said much the same thing about what evolution is. So if you want to accuse me of distorting the definition, then you will be accusing yourself as well.

I have several atheist friends who have no interest in investigating how the diversity of life on earth arose, but have said they don’t think evolution sounds viable to them. There have been cultures whose creation myths did not involve a God, yet that opposed Darwin’s ideas.

It is good you are not ashamed of your subjective reality. My comments were not intended to bring any shame. They were however designed to possibly alert you to the non-cohesive nature of your response.
Is subjective thinking the only thing that is necessary in determining the most accurate cosmological model.

Same here. And I have several Christian friends who are not interested in how the diversity of life arose. And appropriately there seem to be two groups who reject evolution. Group one openly admits they are not interested in such inquiry, yet strangely feel they can reject the theory proposed by those who are well versed. The second group seem to be those who reject the theory due to a prior committment to a specific theological belief. In group two, some are honest about why they reject evolution, and some are not honest about why they reject evolution.

Well i guess the only way we can arrive at any objective fact,is if all the subjective thoughts upon the matter add up to what is some how observably correct. One must "believe" if he is to make any progress in what he "hopes" to know beyond that which he can only know right now.
Clearly there is no reason why you have to believe in evolution to not believe in any gods.
Atheism was part of Soviet Communist doctrine but evolution wasn't.

Yes, that epistemology is called empiricism.

Believe what?
That knowledge is attainable and such an effort is a worthwhile pursuit?

Yeah for right now it's worthwhile. But living with someone who is bed ridden with Alzheimer's,shows me that everything i can know is not in my power to retain, and if there is no GOD,and life here after...everything is but futile, and vain.

Are you talking about me? I have been in CT taking care of my mother with Alzheimer's since Sept.
I'm not sure how you would say that learning how to and then taking care of someone is futile and in vain. If I truly felt this physical existence was in vain, I would have no reason to take care of my mother. I certainly want to help make her last years as good as possible. That is not futile or in vain.
I just made some major progress today with getting medicare to supply her with two new services (home health aid, and physical therapy).
It sounds like the person you are caring for is much further along.
