Mendelssohn Violin Concerto in E minor

I always have a soft spot for classical music, especially violin music.

at the moment the music in my head (as a former composer with a music degree this is something to be expected) is Rachmaninov's Second Symphony in E minor. I have memorized large tracts of it, and my species of memory can simply play them back at will.

BTW most christian music i regard as anodyne at best and a positive travesty at worst. My favourite composer is Bruckner, the catholic symphonist (1824-96)

Gentle On My Mind by Johnny Cash (w/Glenn Campbell)

I think I'd just posted this recently. The Unearthed recordings were just so amazing. What a great rendition of this great song.

"There was so much handwriting on the wall that even the wall fell down"

"In the long run of history, the censor and the inquisitor have always lost. The only sure weapon against bad ideas is better ideas. The source of better ideas is wisdom. The surest path to wisdom is a liberal education." – Alfred Whitney, Essays on Education

Don't you know
That it ain't a crime
If all the squares
And the junkmen
Think you're out of line
