Oh yes, Anna... 'sussed' is English for 'sorted'.

Mesh - It's Never Enough

A 'Depech Mode' type of group.
A song written about the frustration of only being able to see his child an hour a week on a Sunday afternoon.
(The video seems to have little to do with it!)

I just love this song!! Great lyrics... great energy in the music... One of my all-time favorite groups.

Sure.

Is there something I said about Johnny Cash that you have an issue with?
No, not at all. My commentary was not a rebuttal, but rather a different angle of the same reality.

Mary by Patty Griffin w/ Natalie Maines

Mary by Patty Griffin and Natalie Maines

I've posted it many times before. What a song.

"There was so much handwriting on the wall that even the wall fell down"

"In the long run of history, the censor and the inquisitor have always lost. The only sure weapon against bad ideas is better ideas. The source of better ideas is wisdom. The surest path to wisdom is a liberal education." – Alfred Whitney, Essays on Education

And the junkmen
Think you're out of line

I'm in awe of Patty Griffin. She is the most amazing singer/songwriter living, today. And she just keeps getting better.

I was fortunate to have run across her way back when she published her second album. I happened to catch her the very first time she was on TV. And even then, she was breathtaking. I've seen her live several times, and it's magical. The first time the sang "Up To The Mountain" in public was at the Chicago Theater. She sang it with no accompaniment, just her and a guitar. And I saw 800 impatient, half drunk Chicagoans hushed to near breathlessness. Man! That girl can sing!
