Was the human soul of Jesus created in Mary's womb? - April 17th, 2012, 12:40 AM

I've noticed that 95% of the people I ask this say "yes". What do you think?

And if you answer "no", then are you saying that Jesus was always human?

I don't think the Bible tells us the answer to that.

No, he was always God.

For there are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, whose mouths must be stopped

Jesus may have been human... but he never had a human soul... he was always God from the creation of the universe.

It's my understanding that it was His body that made Him human. He's always been God.

I think it is a stupid question
and
to suggest that Jesus had a human soul is more than stupid

No, it was Created before the world began ! And Yes, Jesus was a Begotten Man in His Mediator Capacity from Everlasting. When Adam was Created, all Mankind was in Him, though only in seed form, he still represented all mankind Gen 1:26-27

26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

And Christ was the One Mediator between God and Men that were Created 1 Tim 2:5

5For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

No, He did not have flesh and blood at that Time, He existed in some type of Celestial Body form however !

I hit on this subject a lot in my thread :

http://www.theologyonline.com/forums...ad.php?t=53623

Check it out when you get a chance, and ask questions about the points I posted !

Rom 2:28-29

28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

This is one of those "how many angel's can dance on the head of a pin" questions.
