Having fun with the anti-Calvinist Mr Muzic - May 2nd, 2012, 06:29 AM

Some of you by now will have noticed an angry little man running around this site, pretending he's a crack-hot theologian.

He thinks he's got the answers, but he can't even answer the following, the most basic of questions.

The Question:

"What is the quality/attribute present in the one who makes the eternally superior decision of choosing for God, and absent in the one who makes the eternally inferior decision of choosing against God?"

(Visitors will see Mr Muzic huff and puff and bluff, not to mention continually beg the question, but will never see an answer. Eventually Mr Muzic will become frustrated and turn the question back on the Calvinist, but we shall not allow him such luxury: no.....we shall hold him to the task of answering the question. For if he can't answer this most basic of questions, his theology is worth....well......let's not go there.)

No, because free will is supposed to be common to both.

So you need to tell us why one's (supposed) free will resulted in an infinitely better decision than the other's free will. (What is the attribute present in the one and absent in the other which caused the disparate results?)

You have it backward.

There is a quality/attribute in the one that makes the eternally inferior decision of choosing against God that is absent in the one that makes the eternally superior decision of choosing for God.

The one that makes the eternally inferior decision has a belief in Total Depravity, Unconditional Election, Limited Atonement, Irresistible Grace and/or Once Saved Always Saved.

Because it is free. We are free to determine what is important and what is truth. And God, in all His sovereignty, respects our choice.

Galatians 5:22-23 (New International Version)

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

What are my fruits today?

Why does one make a better decision than the other?

So we see you have given us a discussion, but not answered the question.

And of course we are waiting for Mr Muzic to come on board and provide the answer.

GenuineOriginal,

I rarely take this sort of action, but I have to advise you that owing to your deceptive behaviour in the past, as well as your anti-Christian and shall we say, "consistently dark" mannerisms, I shan't be responding to you any more on any thread.

You have it backwards as always.

It is your anti-Christian beliefs that are the problem.

Please repent. Stop opposing the truth.

There isn't one single quality or attribute. The choice to believe or not is as individual as the person who is doing the choosing.

I don't care how systematic your theology is, until you show me how biblical it is.

(I must be a true celebrity who is making a real impact for Scriptural truth. People are starting threads specifically about me! I think this is the kind of opposition Paul talked about in Phil 1:29!)

He will not accept this answer. He is too blinded by his hatred for the truth and his pride in what he alone thinks is intelligence.

The choice to believe or not is as individual as the person who is doing the choosing.
Well I said this would be fun, and the fun has begun.

So you've told us that the choice is according to one's individuality.

So you're saying that one's individual substance is better than anothers? which substance then allows him to make the better decision?
