Eternal rest, grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace (Amen)
May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Sad news. Seau was younger than I am.

In birth, Junior Seau was meant for the NFL.
In life, Junior Seau was fierce competitor and NFL champion.
In death, Junior Seau was in life overwhelmed.

May Junior Seau rest in peace,
may his mistakes and regrets be buried,
and his life be remembered kindly.

To the Memory
of
Junior Seau

On NFL Live they were commenting on it and apparently he has had a divorce and some other professional failings outside of the league. Those kind of things are never easy to go through. It's also hard on the guys once they leave the league. Their life starts to feel empty. That's why so many go into broadcasting for the league. Still close to it and stuff.

Eh, that hardly sounds like a reason for suicide. I don't know anyone who doesn't have trouble in his life at times. Sounds like Seau was just a big insecure baby.

Too bad, I liked him as a player. Especially as a Patriot.

This is very sad, and very weird, Seau is the 8th player from the 94' Chargers to die - everything from heart attack, plane crash, even a lightning strike, and suicide.

Heck, even the coaches weren't immune, quarterbacks coach Dwain Painter's ex-wife commits suicide shortly after the AFC championship game between SD & Pitt, later his daughter is swept out to sea while spreading her mother's ashes over the Pacific. Retired equipment manager Sid Brooks slips and dies in his jacuzzi a few years ago.

Just sad that a single team has to carry so much loss, almost like a plane went down and took them all at the same time, instead little by little since 94'.

One has to be seriously
Pinheaded & newsless to
Espouse & affirm OT
Nonsensical tommyrot!

I think there is a good chance that something bigger was going on with him. Hardly a baby...
